New to ESO Xbox One and looking for people to play with who can show me the ropes!

DeLaJester55
So i'm new to ESO but know Elder Scrolls well enough that I really just want a good group to play with who can help me figure out the best way to play as well as who I can play through the game with! My gamertag is DeLaJester55, just add me and let me know!

    What class are you playing?
    What's your long-term end-game goal?
    What's you're typical play schedule?
What level are you, at the moment?
PC or Console? NA or EU server?
What Faction/Alliance are you (Ebonheart Pact, Aldemeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant)?

I don't have one, myself, but I believe it's PS ID, if I'm not mistaken.

    Sorry I'm just now responding.

I'm playing as a Stam Nightblade
Not sure as to what my goals are exactly but for now to get a full grasp of PvE and learn PvP
I get about 5 to 8 hours a day in depending on my work schedule, but mostly late nights. *EST*
    17
    Xbox One/US Server
    Daggerfall Covenant

I might add that I'm new to MMORPGs but have played through plenty of Skyrim so I know the universe well enough. Mid 20s and mature gamer. I've noticed a lot of squeakers in area chat and it drives me crazy lol.

A Stamblade is a decent choice and will probably be one of the most rewarding classes in PvP for you (especially if you end of liking the class).

I'd recommend doing full zone clears for at least your Alliance's 1-49 zones (I did full zone clears in every zone on my first toon). Decent amounts of gear to help you deconstruct for crafting or, if that's not your thing, to sell for decent gold.

Get a mount (either from the Crown Store or a horse from the in-game vendor) and train each day (I'd recommend getting your speed to at least 30%, then switch gears and either do stamina or capacity).

Don't start researching builds or worrying about a build until you're at max level. Level everything you can to help give you some options/versatility to change things up when needed/wanted.

Either dump all your attribute points into stam or at least 12-14 into health, rest into stam.

Find a guild (since you're Daggerfall, can't really help you there)! Most have plenty of crafters that are more than willing to show you the ropes, level with you and craft you set gear, which will help the leveling process even more.

Awesome, you played Skyrim! Now forget about that game. A lot of what's in that game doesn't apply to ESO, so it's better to just treat it as a completely separate experience that isn't connected to ESO at all.

    Good luck!

Thanks!! I have a few friends who let me into their guild and it has TONS of gear but they don't play and the gear is far beyond my level. Right now I'm just running missions and enjoying that. and when you say clear a zone do you mean just making sure I have dont the main quest in that area?

Yes and no. Definitely do the main story line quests of each zone, as most of those quest will award skill points (by the way, consider looking up a Skyshard map guide for each zone and collect them all as you level through each zone. Moar skill points, moar better). What I mean is, complete every side quest/hub in each zone. It's not necessary, but before XP Scrolls/Pots were a thing (pre-v16), it helped me hit max level a lot more quickly without having to grind.

I am using Deltia's Map and his site has been helpful. and I am a bit of a completionist anyways so completing every quest is kind of my thing. I think what I was most concerned about was whether or not I should be trying to focus on a build RIGHT NOW or if I should just respec at max level. Also, when it comes to alchemy and potions, what should I be looking out for. I always seem to be a little low on Health potions.

Worry about a build later (at level cap) and respec as needed then.

As far as alchemy goes, while leveling, a pot that can replenish both Health/Stam would be nice for you, however. If you find health is more a thing for you, then just focus on making heath pots. There are reagent combinations that can make Weapon Power, Stam On Use, Stam Recovery and Speed, as an example. If you have an android phone, download ESO Toolkit. It has an alchemy feature to help you play around with the different reagents to determine the best/correct combination.

Also look into Provisioning (either yourself or from someone else). Use buff food. There is new buff food/drinks from Orsinium that scale with your level, that give 5k Health and 400+ Stam Recovery (at v16) that are really nice. Otherwise, a decent blue +health/+stamina food will work just as nice.

I have an unimaginable amount of provisions and have been wondering when i should start focusing on that. and I saw that app but didn't download it! Now I will. Thanks a lot for helping out. I've got a lot to figure out about this game but it's always nice to have a good base of starting points
