Maximizing Proxy Det Dmg?

I recently obtained Proxy Det on my Magblade and i want to get the maximum damage i can out of it. I am on Xbox so i am not able to see my damage number (yet).
I wanted to know if the damage is calculate on the cast of the spell or when it exploded?
Specifically should i be using entropy/Might of Guild and have the ability my DW bar when casting the ability or should i wait until the ability is going to explode to try to buff up the damage?

You can cast Proxy Det, buff up, go into stealth etc and still get the buffed dmg.

Ways to maximize Proxy Det dmg on a NB:

-Entropy (major sorcery) 20% more spell dmg (Sap Essence gives the same buff)
-Entropy (Empowered) 20% more dmg
-Inner Light (major prophecy) 10% spell crit and 7% magicka
-Grim Focus (minor berserk) 8% more dmg
-Reaping Mark (major fracture/breach) 5120 armor/spell penetration

-NB passive (Master Assassin) 10% more dmg while in stealth/invisible
-NB passive (Magicka Flood) 8% increased magicka with Siphoning skill slotted
*Bosmer/Khajiit racial passive (Stealthy) 10% more dmg while in stealth/invisible

-100 CP into Thaumaturge, 25% more magic dmg
-remaining CP into Elfborn and some in Spell Erosion

Furthermore, stacking spell dmg as high as possible with DW weapons is also very important.
2x Molag Kena and 3x Willpower is a no-brainer if you want to maximize spell dmg.
For the remaining 7x pieces, 5x Julianos/Kagrenacs + 2x Torgus or 4x Overwhelming + 3x Arch-Mage.

For getting the highest hit possible the Shadow mundus (12% increased crit dmg) would be the best option.

When I unlock Proxy Det I might respec my Bosmer NB to magicka build, the burst with Proxy Det + Soul Thether will be great.

Clouding Swarm for a bigger boom, since you'll be stealthed 10% extra damage for the duration.

Yeah I went through a phase of is s vamp, not a vamp x 3 because i couldn't decide which method i preferred.

get some spell power potions so u dont give away yourself buffing with entropy or sap essence since u need a target for them.

100 points into thaumaturgy, everything else you have into elfborn.

Empower them boom.

Stick an entropy in there before it blows to get your major sorcery and an empower
