Minimum number of CP's to complete the Veteran Maelstrom Arena?

Greetings,

I would like to know what's the minimum number of CP's required to complete the VMae without having any particular issues in any stage.

I've tried today the VMae for the 1st time on sorcerer,reached the last boss with 50 deaths and then couldn't get past it,spent almost 2 hours trying to kill it but no way.At the moment I have 317 CP but it doesnt seem to be enough.Maybe it's a L2P issue or maybe not but for now think I'll try get more CP's and try the VMae sometimes later.

It is for sure 100 times more easier if you play a sorc with 500 CP.

Or have 500 CP, then it's much easier....unless you are not a sorc, in that case just deal with it.

I am sure ZOS didn't put in one shot mechanics to push sales of repair kits or make it so it's easier with CP to push sales of exp scrolls....

If you can beat round 6 and 7 the final round shouldnt be a problem. What was the thing that killed you the most?

317CP on a sorc is enough.

It was designed with 300 in mind. At least that is the general consensus.

It's just something you have to practice at. You need to be aware of what is coming at any stage and be prepared for it, so the more you run it the easier it will be. It's more of an endurance test than a skill test. You wouldn't expect to be able to speed-run sonic the first time you played it. Watch others complete it and try again. You did well not to quit before 50 deaths.

I have 317 CP, I am a Stam DK and I have struggled at the Frozen Rink for months (Once got the last boss of the final round down to 2k health and died).

Recently, someone was kind enough to guide me through my CP allocation and I believe I have gotten better. I haven't had much luck since then either, but that is because I haven't had a lot of time to practice playing the way I should. I am more PvP focused these days.

I believe it is easier with Sorcerers. And yes, I have heard that round 6 and 7 are some of the toughest.

Main problem as magicka build is that I don't have enough stamina to dodge the skull blast and after the boss teleports to bash him,so I switched to Crushing Shock to avoid wasting stamina on bashing.

The thing is that most of times I get killed by boss's Necrotic Blast for about 15k because I was focused on killing the Crematorial Guard,when I use the Defensive Sigil I don't have any particular issue,think I need to learn how to destroy the crystals while also avoiding the skull blasts from boss when on the upper floor of arena.

In the end I just need to practice a bit more.

I've managed to get up to and complete arena 5 in vMA on my sorc with zero champion points but it is bloody hard, everything hits so hard and the lack of damage really punishes you.

It's balanced for 300 CP and if you have 300 CP you should be able to do it on any class. Sorc I'd say 100-200 is doable with the right spending on points (all in Bastion, increase damage etc).

At the moment I have points in:

Elfborn 27
Elemental Expert 78

Magician 60
Arcanist 46

Hardy 27
Elemental Defender 27

Bastion 52

I could dump all the points from hardy and elemental defender in bastion but I don't know what would be the benefit.

In stage 4,5,6,7 I've burned all the bosses using the defensive and or the offensive sigils but some stages before the boss 's were far harder than the boss's themselves.
