It's not a bad first impression video to be fair. Also considering he's never played an Elder Scrolls game apparently. Although "Brenton" and "Cryodiil" Those mistakes made me laugh, as well as him not knowing what an anchor getting destroyed was . We were all beginners in this game once though

It's more that he has 250,000 views and has done no research on the game prior to filming. "Brenton", "Kadget" and "Dinosaur People"

He just doesn't sell the game well IMO

Battle Leveling kinda ruined the whole PvP-feel and experience for me. The main reason I was leveling my main back in the day, was to become stronger in PvP (obviously) but to reach the max level/vet rank and then find out that a level 30/40 can hit 8.4k Wrecking Blows on me? lol ok

I would actually argue that it does.

Sure, in terms of TES and ESO as of whole he is new, and to say it a little more bluntly a 'newbie'. But throughout the video he is generally happy, excited and really enjoying his time, and thats from someone that has a 100% unbiased view of the game.

I would argue that its a rather positive video, and really showcases the really brilliant immersive world Zenimax has managed to create. Not to speak of the sheer awesomeness of the combat.

To me, thats something that sells.

Have you never seen 2 children play with a toy and its box. one child has the toy the other is flapping the empty box around giggling. the child with the toy abandons the toy and takes the empty box off the other. no matter how shiny and amazing the toy the child is pulled to the other's enjoyment and wants to experience it themselves.

That is how i view this sort of stream/game review. and the good thing is it will work no matter how empty the box.

I agree. He's like a 12 year old with ADHD that's had way too much Red Bull and decided to play around with some video editing and yet he's gotten like half a million views. I think I will actively avoid watching any future videos by this person.

Okay after watching for a bit longer he has endeared himself to me. I honestly find his enthusiasm for this game very infectious. And he is right this game is visually gorgeous.

I've watched a lot of this guys videos back when I played WoW... he's a huge WoW nerd. Anyway, i love this video. the way he gets so giddy about the visual atmosphere is great. i think he sells ESO very well actually!

I think the video is great. He comes off as an un-jaded gamer. A lot of his reactions are the same ones I had the first time I saw something or tried something.

It's nice to see this game through the eyes of someone who has not played it before.

Yeah it was probably that.

He did say he got it for 18 when it is normally 60 to 80. I wonder if that promotion they ran a week or so ago was a gimped version for 18.

I like Lazy Peon. Has great first plays and reviews, it's helpful to me. This review is true, ESO is the best MMO on the market. Simple, beautiful, superb combat.

It's a shame it just turns into a grind when you reach 50 though... and let's not talk about lag.
