I just think the imperial motif was worth so much gold because it was much rarer to find. Other than that it would not be worth any more than other racial motifs.

Rarity and demand. Also there is a unique dye unlocked for having a complete collection of the original 14 motifs, so there's that.

I know. It would be easier to just get an Imp player to make Imperial armor for them.

Except maybe the Imp player doesn't want to take half an hour out of their playtime, maybe running around to different set crafting stations to craft gear for you when you could just go and get the motif and do it yourself

I just convert my equipment to imperial if needed. Anything higher than 20k that person can keep it. I'd rather have stats over looks.

I play over a year now and never got one. Never found Imperial and Barbaric Motif, I even searched for them. Finally I bought both.

I remember when the Imperial Motif was over 150k. I bougt it for 60k on PC, not that expensive.

so it seems, I just got very lucky that all my 7 non-imperial alts found it before they even were at level 5. I think it is obvious, that to me that motif is not of a greater value, if it is so easy to find - but I see now, that it was really very lucky.

Completely worthless. Even 5k is too much for something that common. Too easy to find, and with all the people capable of converting any style to imperial at will reduces its value even more.

100k+ on console. No one wears it just a selling item only. Saw the whole glass motif for sale for the first time the other day. 500k seemed pretty cheap given swords and shields are 80k each at the moment.

I think it isn't worth the price tbh, but I picked 80 because on DC you can get 80k for it without too much effort.

It should be worth whatever people are willing to pay for it. I'm not sure what your point is tbh, but supply and demand should determine prices. Nothing has inherent value in a video game.

ZoS really needs to go back and revise all of the old motifs to use the new altered mesh options. I know, they've said they won't. But, in the long term, this is something that really needs to happen.
