Poll for tanks and healers in PVP areas

If you are tank or healer spec in a PVP zone either traveling or doing a daily quest and you are attacked by an enemy player (of which 90% of the time is DPS spec), what do you do?

I usually change a few skills if I have to travel half the map alone to reach the group. I use addons for that, just tap a key fast to solo build, before mounting. Because getting jumped while using a heal/support build, where you cant back yourself up at all, is like the worse PvP experience ever.

But I still cant kill a single thing due to CP placement and sustain gear as healer. I usually just try to outlast gankers, poke them, cc and keep defending, since I cant kill them. Eventually they give up, I die or someone shows up. In most cases they give up tbh. Nerf healers

Dps players have this problem to. If you run a group/AoE focused build you're also pretty helpless when jumped 1v1. Even worse for them actually, because they get flamed and told how much they suck, if they get jumped while using the "wrong build". But no one really flames a healer in tells after killing them 1v1. Because makes no sense, like beating up a little kid and being proud of it.

Option 4 defend till the realize they can't gank me and wait for them to go off. Atleast HA and tank play does that in PvP.

I would prefer some 4th option here. Nowhere am I allowed to say I would stay and fight, potentially win, or just be an immovable brute with wicked self heals. A good PvP tank can usually 1v1 without issue, although there are plenty of players out there who can take one down.

I rarely PvP or shall I say, I rarely quest in Cyrodil now.
However, I don't have 10 healing skills set so if anyone does....not sure why as you have to kill stuff while questing.

This happened to me today when I was on my healer in a Cyrodiil delve. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as the boss was glowing due to low health, I get ganked. Not one second sooner. I was playing my healer and turtling the boss down, but there was no way that I could tank both the boss and pewpewpew at the same time. I just stood there and didn't even bother fighting back.

Or or Turtle Tank and walk to the next quest giver as they try to gank you PvP tanking 1v1 - 1v3 is pretty easy actually granted zero kills but they all get bored and leave. It's quite funny to mark them and CC spam as they try to break the gank/

My tank is actually useful in IC sewers in a group... I just get crap for TV so I don't bother.

Since stamina changes occurred I am fleeing or not even trying more and more.

I just heal myself and make my way to the nearest keep. Usually people will rock up and help tho.

I usually have no trouble handling a single attacker on my magicka DK tank. Either he runs away after he realizes he cannot burst me down, or he dies.

I just flee towards my guildies while healing myself. I don't PVP often and I never PVP alone.

If it is one bad players and I'm on the tank alone..

if melee:
step 1) After they have gap closed, talons and walk around/through them.
step 2). repeat step one
step 3) petrify
step 4) repeat steps 1-3 until they dont CC break step 3
step 5) walk away from the human statue

If caster,
step 1) reflective scale
step 2) heavy resto
step 3) repeat steps 1-3 until they go in melee range.
step 4) follow "if melee"

if i see they have a mace equipped or two maces on the other hand...I cry a little inside.

I don't understand why you would be only specced as a tank or healer if going to PvP areas alone. As a PvE healer/tank usually, I still switch my set up depending if I'm in a group or not. When in group I can have more skills devoted to buffing and healing my group while soloing I have only few skills to heal myself up.

When I'm using my tank, I kill the DPS.

99.9% of the time I'm on my Healer. I'm *far* from a good PvPer but I'll at least try to survive. I'm not going to kill many people (manage to get one every now and again) but I've become rather decent at staying alive while someone is beating on me.

I wear Heavy with SnB.

I doubt very seriously I'd be able to make an escape from someone determined to kill me, but I sure as hell won't just sit there and take it. I'm going to at least try to fight back. A number of times people have given-up, which suits me just fine.
