Mouse-over the bar, you will see a steep increase in points per level. Patience is your only solution.
Numbers:
- To reach Assault 5, you need a total of 326400 AP.
- For 7, you need a total 1624000 AP, or 4 times as many in addition to what you ground out to reach 5.
- For 10, you need a total of 6918400 AP, or another 3.5 times as many in addition to what you ground out for 7.
It's really not. I work full time and play 3 or 4 nights a week (including weekend) and manage around 1mil+ AP in a month without resorting to mutagen spamming in zergs or wallrepair grinding, mainly solo play.KozawahGaming wrote: »Mouse-over the bar, you will see a steep increase in points per level. Doesn't that seem kind of excessive? Like, it makes it seem like you have to "no life" the PvP just to get to Mag. det on one character. As a student and a part time worker when not in class, I don't have that kind of time to just PvP. Half the time I can't even get into a group in PvP so I'm soloing and not being effective at all.

Remember that after assault 10, there is no more progression for PvPers except for dyes. No better equipment (luckily) or additional skills (a shame). It should not be something that you get to in two weeks.

I'm on the PS4, so i can't mouse over the bar and see how much that I need.

This is why learning to defend your native stuff is super important!
And learning how to deal with farmers is important too. Like breaking down the resource towers and flushing them out-- instead of taking the resource. Once you take the resource they can safely sit in the tower and farm you. One might ask, 'If i flip the resource, don't I get AP d-tick for farming them in the tower?' Yes, yes you do. However they have better defensive positioning then you. It's really easy for them to storm out of the tower, wipe you, head back into it, rinse repeat. Breaking the tower and leaving it in shambles stops this behavior. Arrius, Alessia, Aleswell, Faregyl, Glademist, Kings Crest to name a few... all have terrible terrible spots they can be flagged from the resource towers. So you cannot just leave the farmers to do their bidding.

Aka "I was a part of a skilled and large group that succeeded in defeating many enemies over a large amount of time"
Aka, "you have no hope unless a part of a skilled group capable of defeating great numbers of enemies over a long period of time"

That's not true, the people I know that's the best at getting ap usually are solo or in a group no more than 5.
And as for ticks you really don't want a large group to be around because that lowers the tick.
