Ya it was really bad last night. On top of that the lag was horrible and many players were crashing at the same time. I was in a full group and several players stated that they had either crashed or were in a constant load screen all at the same time. It took me several attempts to get back in to Cyrodiil. Finally I just got fed up and left Cyrodiil.

ZOS has had two years to fix this problem. Of course they just come up with excuses or state they are working on fixes but it takes implementing them one step at a time. Well as stated ZOS has had two years to start implementing fixes and have done nothing. In my opinion and I might be wrong I strongly believe they just can't fix the problem because the only fix would be more severs which in the long run would cost them an arm and a leg. Heck they are not even doing server maintenance on Jan 18th that aught to tell ya something.

Imagine getting a loading screen during combat.

This one time I was trying to kill some scroll runners with my siege weapon (they took the scroll from one of our keeps). The moment a NB comes up I get a loading screen and I could hear was him spamming surprise attack then after the loading screen I was dead with him bowing to me, like ***.

So yesterday it was suggested by a guildie to enter task manager while in game and close/end the Awsomium process. Loading screens are either almost instant or 2-3 minutes for me, so I figure it's worth a shot.

Wouldn't that mess up with NPC's dialog? I might try if I get this bug.

Agreed this is getting to be very frustrating, I get them pretty much everytime I die. I restart the game everytime because it takes significantly less time.

How about loading screen mid Take flight Ulti, and it wasnt a 1 time thing either. In last week it happened to me like 3-4 times. Today was fighting 1v1, dude half hp/CCed Take flight, but NOOOO go loading screen for 15, ransacked to death GG

What server and platform are you guys on? I played earlier today both PvE and since ages tried PvP as well. I haven't had any problems on PC EU, and non-vet campaign.

Servers are not expensive, relatively speaking. I would assume that the mega server is made up of some type of cluster, presumably with blades as the underlying hardware. Blades can easily be added, and assuming the OS is Linux, then there are no licensing costs either, unless it's something like REL.

I suspect the issues cannot be fixed by adding more hardware, or it would have been done already. That would be a quick, easy fix.

As a side note, I would love to see the specs on one of these mega servers. Anybody got a link? Btw... yes, I'm a sysadmin.

Edit: I have not personally experienced the issues stated, so I take it on faith that they exist for some people.

My gameplay experience in cyro: 95 % loading screen, 5 % playing
