Crazy ideas that.... just... might... work !

I know it sounds strange but hear me out.....
How about... listening to the community, reading the forums and *acting* upon what the majority wants and not what you perceive your imaginative target audience wants (that does not exist).
Or.... actually build a *real* connection to your customers and not some delusional self backpatting while after 2 damn years the game is still in a sorry state with so much wasted potential it made me quit twice already and i *loved* the Elder Scrolls games.
OOOR, how about the endless "we did so good" attitude you honestly stand up to your mistakes. Apologize for the mess you created and promise to do something about it with *real* solutions not another 500 crowns and a shabby mount or pet in your beloved Crownstore.
We can drown in your crownstore items and that cashcow will be milked dry sooner than you'll ever know if you don't start appealing to the people who will really spend money on a quality game, with an actual Elder Scrolls *character* not just a TES paint over a rusty skeleton of a product that bears the name of a series worthy of a proper mmo.

TL'DR. Show some damn passion about the game that even slightly reflects the amount of care and work people put into it over years, making the series what it is now, by releasing endless mods for *free* and growing a community that has seen through the dumbed down trend you started a good long while ago.

End of Rant.

We live in a world obsessed with money so sadly this game will never reach it's true potential.

That first year doesn't really count. It was just PC Beta testing to get ready for console.

sadly, true. when they released the early ones there was no pressure to compete on a market full of people with demands for moar splosions and fast casual gameplay. devs could take their time more or less and make a product they actually cared about.
atm it seems all that matters is how much money it makes without any care or love for what they actually do.
Also the connection between devs and gamers suffers.
It used to be gamers creating for gamers and now they hire a few fresh college graduates to develop one of the most challenging mmos.
for a project like this they should have taken *alot* more care with who they hire and only take the best as well as vets from successful mmos as well as the actual teams that made previous tes titles.

That first year doesn't really count. It was just PC Beta testing to get ready for console.

it does count in as much as it was publically released.
had they kept it in closed beta for that year and slowly invited more people to participate in shaping the design early on it would have been different.
    but again. fast. money.

although even on the money base it's pointless since a game that people care about a lot makes a lot more money than an initial "wow" moment and then a massive exodus.

    Wasted potential like what?

I think ESO is going forward pretty good, after VR-removal they can finally start polishing their endgame. Ive a feeling 2016 is gonna be great year.

not saying they are bad but they can't be the centerpiece of the entire game now can they.
It's a nice addition to make cash *as well* but to prioritize on small cosmetic things while the actual giant that is the game itself is neglected is the actual problem i was highlighting.

This is the only MMO I've ever played where my character gets so bugged I have to log out and log back in to fix it, or other times go die and respawn to fix it. It shouldn't be that way!
