Best Heavy attack weapon for stealth?

Hello. Has anyone done the math's on this?

What's best?

2H Mace/Axe/Sword?
DW Dagger/Axe/Sword/Mace?

This is for nightblade's first attack from stealth and opening up with a heavy attack (similar to how Kerviz play's when it come's to rotation if you know him).

Doesn't 2H have some sort of passive that gives you a damage buff after a heavy attack?

i would say 2H sword, for the follow-up passive and the 5% extra damage. although vs a heavy armor maces might be beter

Yeah, i was thinking about that passive too. Duel Wield also sort of get's this passive but your target need's to be stunned first.

So i'm either gaining 10% increased damage for my soul harvest after i heavy attack or 15% increased damage on all light and heavy attack's after the initial attack when they are cc'd.

I'm also debating which trait's and enchant's would be best for that "one shot" type of combo's. Sharpened with Diseased? Precise with Cold damage?

A lot of thing's to factor in.

Well it really isn't a buff but if you land a heavy attack if you do a light attack next it is more powerful it's called follow up. So land a heavy stealth attack that nearly kills some one quickly do a light attack to finish them off.

Follow Up - Gives you a 10% damage bonus on the next attack after a fully charged heavy attack.

Technically if you use Soul Harvest right after, that would get a 10% damage boost. Your not forced to use a light attack. This combo would be deadly too.

Hmm well it does except for another heavy attack. I just always used a light attack cause it is extremely fast follow up attack.

DW Maces into MEdium or Heavy Armor

DW Mace/Sword works just fine agains everyone

DW Heavy attack is 2hits from stealth... if canceled properly with skill, prefferably suprise attack or sloul harvest, it's 3 hits from stealth ...

DW/2H
... buff up ... DW HEAVY into Suprise attack into Swap into Executioner (with camohunter on in case you'r ganking Vamp )

Any reasoning for this? I'm nightblade, if i was a dk with molten weapons maybe.

Wrecking blow from stealth. Gives empower to your soul harvest, plus knockdown.

Much more damage from stealth than any heavy attack.

I've been testing that combo. It does deal a lot of damage but it's very slow. I wish we had target dummies in cryodill to get damage re-cap's for situation's like this. I like the combo but it's a little harder to pull off in a fast pvp environment. I'm also not sure if i want to run wrecking blow in pvp since it's so easily countered... even though it's strong.

Using a heavy attack with duel wield is unique because it can applie 2 status effect's. Usually healing de-buff and a snare (disease + cold).

Does wrecking Blow applie any enchant's?

From Stealth you can land both, Heavy weapon attack and ambush

besides that, up to 12% extra dmg based on distance. Combine it with the minor berserk buff from grim focus to get a nice increase

Yesterday I was testing my VR9 NB. She is 60Cps to mighty, 20 to precise strikes and 30 to bow expert (attronach). In PVE I crit most of the time for 14K heavy attack and 12K ambush at the same time. I'm planning to use surprise Atack as the 3rd wheel

And she's a dunmer. I suppose a cat or a bosmer get better numbers
