✭✭✭✭✭I like my leopard mount, it suits my character's height and size a lot more than a horse does. For taller characters I use the white imperial horse, but it is by far less enjoyable to ride that one. The leopard feels like having a sport car, while the horse feels more like an SUV - ok this metaphor is weird, but I hope you get what I mean with it. So to me this was kind of a gift as well, to be able to buy this leopard mount, otherwise I would have gone for the lioness, which is nice, but not as the leopard.1 -

1) 10 hour mount training cooldowns for 2 weeks.
2) Increased drop rates and bonus exp for completing dolmens (with an increased chance of rare enemy spawns).
3) Crafting writs have an increased chance to give rare items.
4) Special NPC vendors with limited-time items (these could even be made to fit with Tamriel's lore).
5) Increased drop rates for fishing.
6) A 5% exp boost for everyone for a week.
6) ...
As you can see there are several things ZOS could have done to recognize their players during a time of year that is dedicated to giving to others. Instead they did absolutely nothing. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas it would have been an end of year celebration and, as noted, could have easily fit within the lore of Tamriel (moreso than the Halloween crown store items did anyway).Edited by Hiero_Glyph on December 29, 2015 5:31PM1 -

There's never any of these things. This is one of my biggest disappointments with ESO. For most other MMOs there are in-game events, festivals, dev run special activities. They make a game more interesting alive and foster a sense of community. Tamriel is a far more dead, static world without them.

FWIW I have started a committee where we celebrate Tamriel Holidays. We'll have giveaways, competitions, partying etc. Our first event is Heart's Day on the 16th of Feb
