Is stam the new "meta" for eso?

As i have seen it and played it stam seems to be the best builds ive seen in 1.8 (mal arena)
And i feel like i always die by a stam build. Is it just me or are you guys thinking stam is the new way to go?

Hmmmm I guess i can see the problem there.
You really shouldn't pvp outside a tight group like that. You can kinda pull off some damage but you're somewhat squishy. You have .. what? 22k health, tops? 27 with food , at most ? ... with light armor, if you get ganked with as much as Heavy attack you're in execute range if the guy's enchant procs.
you can keep the armor like that, just put up some sword and shield to help you with a a bit... heck get some Healthy willpower rings/neck, if that helps
Try to google up Deltia's or Sypher's website for builds, and season it up with any preference you got.

Good for damage I suppose, but ur losin a lot by missing v16 glyphs.
Stamina isn't new, WB and NBs have always done well. I believe that CCs are what gets most kills, and therefore CC break is imperative, both costing stamina would make stamina resource the meta. Not necessarily stamina builds themselves.0 -

iamnotweakrwb17_ESO✭✭✭✭Stamina is definitely the meta. PvP in this game is player vs stamina more than anything else. Nobody dies to regular damage. Everyone dies when they are CCed and either do not have enough stamina to break or the controls bug out and they physically can't CC break despite pressing the buttons.
This is why people spam wrecking blow so much and why it is so powerful. Not only does it do *** damage, it also burns players stamina. This is ESO's single biggest combat flaw. Stamina plays a disproportionate roll in determining the outcome of fights. No hard hitting attack should burn stamina, period! That's just cause of the damage/ defense gap there is in PvP players can achieve from what I heard 3K+ damage and paired up with either Nirnhoneds spell penetration or Gold mace W/ Sharpen players get easily 30%, 50%, maybe up to 60% resistance penetration turning what ever armor you have into mush.
Damage has no cap while resistance does. Like you think 25K+ physical and 27K+ spell resistance even with out blocking would keep damage low nope still 4K or 5K+ damage.Edited by Forestd16b14_ESO on December 27, 2015 6:49AM1 -

You can get way way stronger than you are thats why.
30k magicka is pretty low if you ask me do you use health and magicka buff food?
Some people you are up against have very high stats compared to you and will do insane damage or will be unkillable for you. I suggestie trying to look for builds and guiders online.

You won't do any miracles, but hey, it's a 3 trait and a 4 trait sets, you can make it work, lol.

✭✭Doubt it for pve. For pvp, yes. Stamina might not have the utility that magicka does, but when pvp is reduced to a boring who has more damage contest, stamina is king and it will be until they make combat more dynamic.2013

That's inaccurate, at least if you're a magicka build yourself. Combination of Hardy, Elemental Defender and the biggest culprit Annulment(light armor shield) makes it fairly easy to tank other magicka builds. Stamina builds have less shield to chew through(if any) and naturally deal more dmg since no CP sign that substantially reduces their physical dmg.
This is why there's multiple stamina meta builds in PvP. While PvE is a total magicka fest ofc, since NPC's aren't spamming Harness Magicka or with access to CP.2 -
