Magicka and spell damage

Are these two attributes not tied together? I assumed they would be but I'm not seeing a change when I increase my magicka

They both affect the damage of your spells but you won't see a direct change in one when you change the other.

Are stamina and weapon damage tied together? I heard something like 5k stam= around 125 weapon damage but doesn't actually increase weapon dmg just tooltip and overall damage. Keep in mind that's just what I heard not claiming this is correct.

Last I saw, the rough conversion is 10.45 magika or stam to 1 spell or weapon power. For equivalent increase in ability damage.

Both have the effect of boosting your skills tooltip damage but they have no effect on one another.

Roughly 1000 magicka has the same effect as 100 spell dmg.

They don't increase eachother but will increase the tooltip dmg of your skills.
