Phoenix set traits

I'm saving up for a Phoenix set and noticed every piece has the impenetrable trait. Is there a way to get other traits on it? If I buy the unfathomable greater Phoenix armor box will that give pieces with different traits on it?

The looted ones, if any, probably not. Some sets are kind of locked in as far as Trait and Enchantment goes. Of course you can replace the Enchantment but still...

The boxes drop all other traits

I was really hoping I could wear 5 Phoenix and 3 Eternal Warrior pieces (3 Pieces: When you die, you instead turn into a statue for 3 seconds. While a statue, you are immune to all negative effects, but can still be healed. This effect has a cooldown of 1200 seconds) but although I have enough to do so, none of it is jewelry. I imagined it'd work well with Soul Shatter, too.

WHOA!? I went to check the World skill line Soul Shatter passive's tooltip and now you blow up when below 20% health!? I leave for half a year and someone decides to reassess and change Soul Shatter? Bizarre.

Still probably work nicely with Phoenix.

Yeah, pretty much. You have a chance at getting divines and infused from the random boxes, but it also means you have a chance at Sturdy and Well-Fitted
While not the most greatest of traits, Impen isn't bad at all, especially in PVP with everyone going crit these days. If you find enough of the traits you want, people seem to be selling IC sets at guild traders if you want to make up the difference by buying some pieces there too.

I wonder how that would work if you combine those two sets.

I had a full set of v16 all with impen. My my this is no good says I, get some farming done and let's see if it throws out more damage. It did, but... I noticed I was taking HUGE amounts of damage in comparison and couldn't 1vX at all where with impen I seemed to be able to just keep on sucking it up.

Didn't wear it long enough to make any confirmed 'which is better', and on console so no numbers, but tbh the impen isn't a bad set at all. (talkin' pvp here)

RNGessus hated me too, I can still remember that out of the first 6 drops I got from the random 5 were helmets (was running engine guardian and wasn't gonna drop that!) I also got a few well-fitted etc, took me a looong time to get a set with divines and other worthwhile traits, and in the end I reverted back to impen.
