Did they stealth nerf the Psijic Fragment drop rate?

I have 4 V16 chars that I do daily provisioning quests on they are maxxed out and I can't remember the last time I actually got a fragment, whereas before the Orsinium DLC I would usually geat at piece every 3 days or so on one of my characters!

Or are the Recipe fragments linked to Craglorn and that provisioner hand in? i.e. lvl 9 provisioning rather than 10?

Yes, the drop rates always go down as more people do the writs. People will say it is just a random number generator, but computers can not generate a true random number. The simple truth is, the more people perform a writ dungeon or whatever trying get that "item", the possibility of receiving that "item" drops, to keep the game from being flooded with that "item".

Ok thanks it's just that I do daily writs on 4 chars and seriously can't even remember the last time I got a fragment - maybe more people are doing them since the DLC then

Yes.. they severely nerfed the drop rates for the psijic ambrosia frags. I used to at least get 1-2 per week on two characters doing writs every day, now I am lucky if I get 1 per month on the same two characters.

I've had two fragments drop from writs since day 1 when they first became available. I had to buy the rest

I have 2 provisioners and do the writs almost every day. I'm one frag away from my 2nd full recipe but ut seems that suddenly I just don't get the drops anymore.

It has a relatively low rate to appear, supposedly bigger in higher level areas/writs. I think Orsinium's was just made lower than the others to begin with lol

Got my first Psijic Frag from Orsinium today, after trying since DLC Day 1... Mind you, only 1 of my characters can do this writ because Orsinium requires you be at least VR1 due to the Craglorn check but still...

Hopefully the crown store is well stocked with exp scrolls, or else dangerous shortage could occur!!!

I actually got fragment today after weeks of doing the writs on 4 chars daily - so they do still drop! lol

Yes. I used to get them regularly when they were introduced, then after a couple of months I stopped getting any. It continued for so long I stopped doing Prov writs altogether.

I also find malachite with much lower frequency than I used to. I assume they just nerf drop rates when recipes/motifs hit the crown store. I might be wrong, maybe it's just bad luck, but it's been too consistent not to look suspicious.

I do 3 writs a day and haven't seen one for awhile. I have 2, 3, 4, 5, and I have an extra frag # 5. Xbox 1 NA server, msg Unsent Soul if you have 1, 6, or 7 and/or need number 5.

Yeah, I noticed this too. I used to get one every 2 weeks tops. It has been a month now and no drops whatsoever.
