Craftable Disguises

Zenimax,

Can you add a feature that allows players to record their armor as as costume that is put on with a press of the 'X' or 'A' button? This would allow for us to wear whatever we want and still keep the look we've grown to like. Not to mention, nothing for nothing, but many of the costumes you guys have been putting in the Crown Store and make accessible in-game look pretty crappy. Thanks.

    No.
For example, you should not be allowed to mimic legit light armour while actually wearing heavy. My tactics change depending on the gear someone is wearing. If they are wearing a costume dropped or purchased from the crown store, then fair enough.
While I see the appeal of this idea, it's not a good one.

Let's be honest... Your ability to determine a strategy based on what someone is wearing, is not a viable reason, for a few of my own.
    1) We can already wear disguises that conceal our real armor type (even in pvp)
    2) We are allowed the freedom to mix and match armor types, with some players wearing light, medium and heavy. So how do you strategically approach that in a specific way?
    3) In pvp we are allowed to be invisible to the enemy player via sneaking. Just another means of how knowing what the player wears won't matter.
    4) Your opinion of the idea is biased towards pvp, and does not consider the whole gaming experience in its entirety; like role-playing, and cosmetic preference through freedom of expression.
