In response to the ongoing issue, the ESO Store and Account System have been taken offline for maintenance.

Something to keep in mind playing ESO or any online game.

I had a group experience the other night that reminded me to keep my online frustration in check. This applies to ESO and any sort of online game.

I came into a normal pledge group through the LFG tool as a DPS role on my v16 sorc. I don't remember the level of the players that were in the group, but they were all under 40 I believe. We had a couple of deaths in the first few groups of pulls and I had to finish off the giant boss since everyone else was dead. I was doing all of the DPS and the healer was sword and board in full heavy armor. I looked at the group tool and he was flagged as tank and healer role. There was another sword and board player flagged as DPS and tank. Myself and another DPS were flagged just as DPS.

I was about to lose it because I knew I was going to have to pick up the healing, which I did. Once I did there was ZERO DPS, I thought they were fighting with nerf weapons. So I switched to inferno staff for DPS and Resto staff for healing and just did DPS and heal. It wasn't a vet dungeon and was a challenge keeping a couple of them alive.

I was about to ask these guys if they were drunk or just stupid, then got a whisper from one of them. "Hey, I really appreciate you helping us out. I am playing with my 8 year old daughters and they are having a great time right now. Thanks for sticking with us." I am SO GLAD I kept my frustration in check, or I woul have felt like a complete jackwagon. Anyway, we ended up going through a couple more dungeons together and had a great time.

Anyway, just something to keep in mind when playing. You never really know what's going on behind the other computers. If you are playing with good people make the best of it.

Sometimes you can never tell if somebody is actually a jerk, or if they are just under special circumstances. Thanks for this.

Good deal man, no reason to insult real people over a fantasy game. Even though sometimes it can be very frustrating...

I went in Spindle with a group having problems with the 2nd boss. After two wipes I ask who was tanking and they were like huh. I thought derp. So I told them wait here and I will message you. Jumped on my stalled V-1 DK and back we went. Off we go and out the other end. Got all 3 early dungeons with them and had a blast. Just hope someone learned to tank for next time. :).

My 7 year old grand daughter plays as well. She gets in groups all the time for dungeons and other group stuff. (Not only in this game, she plays several). So far she has had nothing but positive experiences but we monitor her pretty closely. Also my son has been teaching her how to gear properly and play her given role properly in these games since she was very young. Please know that her gaming is just one of many things she does with her time. She takes piano and dance lessons now but has also taken gymnastics and wants to start Tae Kwon Do. She got her first "grown up" computer when she was 2 but had "kiddie" computers before that. She participates in many activities including gaming on the weekends when she comes to grammas (my son lives with me to take care of me because I am disabled).
