This is my first and only time I've ever seen this. Maybe it's something common, but I have no idea what it was lol

    You mean the Nightblade fear? It's called Aspect of Terror. It has a morph called Manifestation of Terror that places the shade as a "trap" that activates when you go near it.

    Or is that not what you are referring to?
