How getting nerfed made me Better

A few weeks back our buddies at Zos stealth nerfed Radiant Oppression and more or less ruined the magicka Templar build I'd been playing for the last 6 months on XBox. At first I cried a bit on here. I admit it. But then I took it as as a challenge to create a new weird build that no one would ever really consider. The results have been spectacular.

I have created what I believe to be Tamriel's only known Shield-Stacking, Healer-Tank Stamplar.

7/7 Heavy
64 Stamina
5/5 Willows Path
2 Nights Silence
All Endurance Jewlery
Duel Wield Agility
Sword and Shield Willpower
Agility Bar: Vigor, Javelin, Deadly Cloak, Repentance, Whirling Blades, Soul Assault
Willpower Bar: BoL, Pierce Armor, Defensive Stance, Repentance, Radiant Oppression, Barrier

With Purple Food in Cyrodiil above 15K magicka, 30k health, and 31k Stamina. Recoveries are M851, H1511, and S1422.

Basically when I'm in PVP I just hit Cloak and Stance, and everything gets bounced back. I have over 20K of both resistances so I'm just eating damage and healing.

Then for good measure RO still works as a finisher. Barrier too works as a third shield.

What's your weapon damage at?

Why the willpower weapon and shield?

Seems like an easy build to beat imo, resistance really don't mean much, I have 31k spell resist in light armor and attacks like overload still hit for 15k+

Anyways, the Heavy Armor + Stamina Attributes looks interesting. I had something similar on my DK back on NA, tho I used 2x S&B for extra defense on both bars

I don't know much about Templars tho, but this does seem like a fun build.

Ore so the things like willpower armor and weapons, which aren't going to help a 15k mag builds BoL as it'd already insanely weak.

The magicka is insanely weak and is only used as a last resort really. With the slight boost due to the Willpower weapons BoL still hits above 4K and 2K while Vigor is already ticking above 8K. If I did stamina weapons BoL would go from weak to useless and RO would too. Just another tool in the tool belt.

Also, I've learned that PVP is less about pure numbers and more about different situations. I can root you with binding javelin. I have 2 different ways to heal. I have 3 different shields. I have ranged options. I have executes. I have in combat bonuses and most of my skills make other skills more powerful.

As for easy to beat, I can deflect back your projectiles, heal myself, root you again, cast a shield, remove over 5000 from both your resistances and then execute you in a few seconds. Or just string the fight out for 5 plus minutes. Sure, I can get zerged like anyone else, but the build is very capable 1 on 1 and monster in zerg support.
