Ok ZOS. I have pleaded for the mounts to somehow be included in-game to justify their existence in ESO. Let there be wild nightmare coursers around a lava pit or a frozen grotto with frost mares inside. (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/174930/a-request-for-mystical-mount-presence-in-game/p1) Although the white bear mount isn't mystical in nature, it is a limited time special mount.

I didn't expect to buy the mount and had no real interest in the mount. But since there are white bears in Bleakrock..

I bought the mount...

I want to support this kind of release. I want to encourage it. So I bought it.

I didn't buy the fire horse. I didn't buy the ice horse, and I didn't buy the mind-shriven horse.I didn't buy any of those because they were not included in the game in a meaningful way outside of the Crown Store. Even though this bear was already in the game I can still have a reasonable explanation as to where it came from. Dar-Ja'Taba got the white bear from Bleakrock. You can go there and see those bears yourself.

Keep it up ZOS! Represent your mounts in game somehow and I'll keep buying Crown Packs.

And yes... riding a bear in first person is as jarring as you think it would be.

Wait...when did they introduce first-person for riding mounts? How do you do it?

I'm on the fence about the bear mounts, as the riding animation looks wonky and jarring. I don't have any of the guar mounts for that reason.

is first person mounts only on the pc because im on the xbox one and i can only ride in third person

1st person mount riding is an add-on. PC only.

ZOS really should add it. It works FLAWLESSLY and consists of like... 30 lines of LUA code.

Rats! I'm on XB. I recall ZOS mentioning that they were looking into adding first-person riding, so hopefully it will happen.

I've always been a fan of limited edition and rare items in games, as it kind of makes me feel like a boss having obtained them. Hopefully ZOS keeps producing them, and best believe I'll keep collecting them.

I agree @Ch4mpTW ... but only when obtaining them involved more than hitting "buy". I find I don't feel at all special having bought items.

That's true @RAGUNAnoOne but the add-on lets you ride while in first person.

I came to the thread because I misread the title. I thought it said "My monkey is in my mouth", and I had to see it.

I am dissapoint.

I didn't buy the polar bear mount because the riding animations on my cave bear mount give me a little motion sickness. That said, they are realistic, and I applaud the team for them. It's just not for me.

I DID purchase the polar bear cub pet, and was sad that the animations are identical to the cave bear cub pet. But, he's freaking adorable, so I'm gonna let that slide....
