Beyond that people can be found there and you can simply ask them if they wanna group up or if you can join theirs if they have one already!

Oh yeah, sorry
Care to give a run-down of your build? I have soloed those bosses before (I think I died once), although it was on a magic char. Might be able to give some helpers though.
To answer the 'why' question, these were removed because the group finder now does cross-faction grouping and battle-levelling. Cross-faction grouping and battle-levelling are not possible in public dungeons or in the overworld, so they were removed from the group finder.
Yes indeed. And there is a small reward for running a dungeon through the group finder (or there should be; not sure if it's been implemented yet). Here are the relevant patch notes:Wait, what!? When using the group finder you can end up playing cross-faction? I've always ignored the LFG tool (as I view it mostly as a way to ensure you end up playing with the people who somehow managed to be so terrible that they cannot make friends or find guildmates to play with them, and am pretty opposed to even being in a group with even one pick-up member, as I always seem to end up with the "tank" without a taunt or a shield or other time-wasting craziness), but that's pretty interesting. I'll have to go re-read the patch notes. Next thing you'll tell me that using the LFG tool gives you access to a less cruel and sarcastic loot table or traits for BOP items or some other reward. Frankly, I'd assumed that no one used it, anyway, regardless of whether it was finally fixed or not.To answer the 'why' question, these were removed because the group finder now does cross-faction grouping and battle-levelling. Forgive me, I've been away half a year and logged into 5 FPS in Cyrodiil and Wrothgar, so I'd assumed pretty much everything else had remained the same, too.
Cross-faction questing. Be interesting to run around with some of my old PvP enemies.
Grouping Tool Improvements
We have performed a significant mechanical overhaul of the Grouping Tool. It will now find groups more rapidly and reliably when looking for any available group. Below are the first steps on the road to making the Grouping Tool an adventurer’s best friend – look for additional improvements in a future update.
Dungeon groups formed through the Grouping Tool will receive a moderate buff to their stats while inside that dungeon.Loot will be contextualized to your level.
Groups can now be formed across all three alliances. It is entirely possible for two Aldmeri characters to team up with an Ebonheart and Daggerfall duo through the Grouping Tool to complete a dungeon.
