exotic weapons skins discussion

hey guys just a friendly discussion about special weapon skins that could be added in the game and what would you like to see added or what effects would you want them to have and would they be connected to special events or in game holidays.
im hoping later down the line we can get exotic weapon skins that have awesome effects, kinda like how GW2 does it. Although I do understand that ESO is more realistic, but that doesn't mean it couldn't work out for us if done right. for instance when I was playing in craglorn, the story made me think of a special theme like a cosmic constellation theme each weapon with its own theme of stars in mind, that shimmer and have a special night stary sky color. they would all have their own special effect when you use them with regular attacks. the special weapon skins can be gained in-game or in crown store.

✭✭✭✭✭Eh... I kinda like how the weapons in ESO are not as overdone as a great many other games. The problem with "special" in MMOs is, sooner or later everyone and their granny will get them, and then with everyone "being special", noone is. AND the world looks like a cartoon.

I'd rather keep it as of now, and maaaybe add some "extra-rare" weapon visuals to be gained from questing, much like the monster helmets. Possibly reusing the companion weapon skins? I mean sai sahans sword would make a good item drop for some sword saint quest...
In any case, I would rather have something people really have to -work- for then let them buy "weapon skins", especially overdone "oh, look everyone, my sword is super starlight rainbow magic" stuff...
If anything, I'd want weapon dyes so I can have better control over my blade colors (some of the higher level crafting materials... offer suboptimal visuals...), and maaaaaybe more effect for the enchantments then just a little flicker now and then...0 -
