Legendary Tempers and Kuta! Was the drop rate from writs and hirelings stealth-increased?

Look what my DK got from the today's writs:

Also, I had (in total) 2 more Tempering Alloys and 2 Dreugh Wax with other characters! Was this a coincidence, or did ZOS listen to us? Please, let it be no coincidence!

Probably not, but I hope so. Like usual, their original nerf to people with 7 crafting alts screwed over everyone else. In the past couple months, I've gotten a single kuta, and maybe a handful of the other yellow mats. 1 crafting alt, and lots of refining mats.

I got yesterday one Kuta from a rune node.
Last week a Kuta from a gummy sack fishing.
and the last couple of days on average 1 yellow per the 6 writs of my one main character
and on average 1 yellow per 200-300 mats, the harvest of one session playing of 3-4 hours.
also one yellow temper from my main character hireling. (I stopped with the other hirelings)
All in Orsinium

It should not influence the rates above mentioned, but I do have 75 CP in Tumbling for the 75 CP Treasure Hunter CP Passive.
That delivers once in a while purple Vet 16 stuff in Treasure Chests in Orsinium and is very welcome
Rates seem BTW higher in Master Chests than Simple Chests.

Hm, that's interesting about the Treasure Hunter passive.. I've put 75 points into the other tree from which I got the Master Gatherer passive, maybe I should switch^^ Then again, I rarely get lucky when I break down purple/legendary items, but it's worth a shot, I guess

3-4 hours a day roaming through Orsinium from here to there, enjoying the TES feeling
In fact also a 3-4 hour grinding chests in a for me pleasant way, just following a very long route from the one Treasure Chest to the other. Harvesting any node or monster along the way. The dailies more a kind of side dish.

It would be awesome if the treasure chests on Khenarthi's Roost would give us VR15/16 items But anyways, I do enjoy the TES feeling whereever I am, so I'm glad about any chest I come across
The dailies (writs) I reduced to do with "only" 4 characters now (from previously 6), the 2 which are parked in Orsinium would have to use the new mats for the equipment and enchanting writs but these are way too expensive and I rarely get a survey from them. So I dropped it. Hm, but with the luck I had today in Craglorn, I should try in Orsinium again, I guess^^

I only run 1 crafter so can't comment about the hirelings but I noticed I seem to get quite a few more golds from refining lately.

Master Chests are more rare... but from gut feeling per 3-4 hours 2 Master Chests (In Orsinium !).
My best loot from Intermediate is typical Vet 16 blue, gear and Jewelry.

Never kept a tally... but perhaps I should.
I guess I need up to the next DLC to replenish my gold stock to have some manoevring room for legendary upgrading the new sets that I am going to wear when I do vMA. That gives some time for good statistics.
Want to do that as double S&B Magicka Siphoning tank. Upped in DPS I give it a try with 500 CP.
So for the time being patience and immersion

My main gets on average 2 surveys per day for the 6 writs.
The return of those surveys is definitely higher than the Vet 16 mat costs to do the writs

I must add that my main has all skillpoints in ALL crafting passives.
There is nowhere any info that this could benefit drop surveys/loot rates & quality, but I have more than enough skill points free and for these expected two months of roaming Orsinium I rather err on the side of caution.

I have the passives activated, too, but the surveys.. well, I always can count on getting an Alchemy survey. The others drop so rarely now that I have higher costs for mats than gaining anything from these writs, at least in Orsinium with the Ruby mats.
Then again, I haven't done the Orsinium writs today (or, after the last patch yesterday), only the Belkarth/Void writs.. so if my theory in my OP is true, I might get a survey or legendary temper soon again in Orsinium. I'll check it out tomorrow

RNG regarding Gold items like those has always been the same for me, and that in and of itself is fine as far as I'm concerned. With my luck I'm just thankful to get them period

I'm seeing an increase on writ rewards as well. If you have all crafting maxed out there is now a very good chance for gold tempers

I've seen an increase, but then I used to see posts like this from people saying how many legendary tempers and kutas they get and think "But I never see more than one a month" - so maybe it's just that the RNG gods have turned a kindly face to me...

And I don't want to boast... but on Sunday I received all five surveys on one character!

I just did 12 writs in Orsinium and 20 in Belkarth (would be 24 but the Provisioning writ still doesn't work and I don't expect a fix anymore)... well, I was wrong in the OP, it was a coincidence. Nothing but crap and the usual Alchemy survey again.
You know what? From now on, I just don't care anymore, it's not worth it.
