Quickest way to max Assault skill line?

Hoping to switch over to full stamina build soon. Problem is that I intend to use Vigor as my means of healing, plus a few of the passives. Currently, I am at level 2 in that skill line.

How long do you think it'll take for me to get enough AP for level 10? Also, what activities would you recommend I do to speed it up?

Vigor is no longer level 10 skill, i think its level 5(?) now.

Okay...well, I still intend to get to rank 10 anyways for the passives, so what tips do you have?

PvP a lot, and do things that generate lots of AP. Running with a good guild group farming unorganized zergs is best of course, failing that follow a friendly zerg, spam everyone with heals and don't forget to wait for defense ticks.

Yeah, sorry, there is no quick way to level the pvp skill line. It didn't level like the others, the only way to level it is by getting AP, and no way to boost it. It's a long grind, so let the killing begin!

Find an active server, find a PvP guild, storm many keeps and whatever, then leave them to be taken back so you can storm then once again, all the while ganking everyone you can and generally raising havoc all over cyrodil?

Sorry, no shortcuts here... best you can find is those rare instances when there's some nigh-eternal conflict betzween defenders and attackers over some keep, with each side rezzing left and right to throw themselves back into the fray to earn even more AP...

And yeah, Vigor only costs around 300k ap in total so its pretty easy to get.

Find a campaign that is both active and not laggy... sorry can't keep a straight face any further...

But basically just PvP a lot in the active times for your server.

If you have a build that kills well solo then run solo as you will get more AP per kill, if not run in a decent raid group.

Defend a lot as it still gives better AP than attacking.

Repair about 10,000 walls?

Go to the enemy faction buff server and gank PvE hubs like Bruma

You'll get Vigor in a week if you pvp enough, its pretty easy to get 50k AP per day.

Alliance Rank 24 / Assault Rank 10 will take some time though, roughly 4,5 months if you get 50k AP per day.

Equip a resto staff, follow a group around, spam Rapid Regeneration/Mutagen. You rack up AP pretty quickly doing that.
