It will run ESO but it aint a gaming laptop, so do not expect good fps or anything hehe.
It will run on Low.
Just build your own gaming rig, costs less and is way better imo.

I have a gaming laptop, runs on ultra 60fps in cyrodil....just looking for something more portable that can also let me login to eso (in the bed or on the go) and maybe grind in pve, hunt for nodes or do some small scale pvp. This tablet can accomplish this?

building a rig is always more expenisve then a console...
i don't know a single pc user who spends less then 400 euro's in 8 years on their pc

You don't really need a gaming laptop. My laptop is a regular ASUS laptop (only notable feature is a GeForce GT 740M GPU, which isn't really top notch) and it runs with settings in medium. I can go to high, but with lower fps.
About OP's config: too small a screen, too weak a CPU and GPU, too slow HDD, 8GB RAM would be better. I'd say the minimum would be a 13" screen (preferably 15" or so), Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM, 7200 RPM HDD (preferably an SSD), dedicated nVidia GPU.

You can get tablets or 2 in 1 devices that are 13" and 15" ? If so I think that's to big a screen for what I'm looking for....but I dunno I guess I would have to look around. The surface pro 3 has i7 (maybe I could find a refurbished in the surface pro 3 in my desired price range.
There is an option on the original link for a 120gb ssd but the 500gb 5krpm seemed better (my laptop runs ssd so I dun really know what 5k vs 7k feels like on eso....should only matter for length of load screens right?)

Tablets or 2-in-1 aren't really meant for serious gaming, so you're really gonna have to compromise there. I was giving my opinion and I would never go for that solution. Rather have a decent laptop and a decent tablet myself, but if you can deal with low res and low fps and you value the tablet/laptop combo so much, maybe it will work for you.
The HDD will never be the most serious bottleneck, but in my experience yes, load times get better the faster your storage is. I had already put in an SSD in my laptop and I just got one for my desktop. Couldn't be happier with them.
Why exactly did you bring up this particular PC in a discussion about <$400 11 inch netbook?j.d.elyb14a_ESO wrote: »I have an Alienware Area 51 with I 3 chip and run ESO with no problems. Lag in PvP but nothing else. Like most peeps who PvP. Been a good computer for size and price.

Ok, joke aside, I have no clue about laptops XD

Haha, I wish! My laptops over 8 years..... $4,500 ($1500 a pop 2.5 - 3 years life expectancy) actually I buy 2 at a time (one for the wife each time) so it's actually $9k....but it's not fair to compare just a console, Xbox 1 (dunno the current rate)+ 4x controllers ($70.00 each) + a display (my TV was $2500 5 years ago, and no I only use it for my console, no cable subscription only devices hooked up are my Xbox 1 and 360.
So my consoles over 5 years is at maybe $3,500 (but supports multiplayers on some games) compare that to the $4500/ 8-years and it's slightly more expensive for a single player but for multilayer it's cheaper than the $9k for me and my wife ....if you add it for 4 players Then console is definitely the cheap option. It's not as simple as "consoles are $400 built rigs are $1,500+"
Overall I personally get more enjoyment from my laptop, but my kids get more from the consoles.

And this doesnt help him unless you give some more details about the CPU and graphics.
