62, yes 62 runs still no Helm!

Wtf is going on. For real. 2-3 hours trying to find group everytime (which gets disbanded after 3-4 runs without any luck)
I tried to keep it cool, I was all like ''want something gotta work for it'' But 62 runs are you serious?! I need the Bloodspawn helm to complete my pvp set but I have to Pve (something I dislike) for so many hours only to get some *** greens from last boss.
I think Im done with this game. It feels like everytime I play Im just working and Im not having fun at all. I really wanted this helm but come the f on. Just finished my 62 run. 4 people so far have gotten it while farming with me but thats it. Not to menton I saved 50+ keys while leveling and only got one single helm out of those 50+ runs.

RNGesus felt sorry for me, after 66(6?) runs. Still think it wasn't worth it. Token system now!

Took me 126 runs for a Valkyn skoria helmet back at v14, and 139 for my FIRST Nerineth helmet (luckily it was perfect at the time) at v14. Over 80 runs for a new perfect Nerineth and still nothing. Desire sensor OP

RNGjeezus is the next baddest boss in Tamriel. My personal experience is if I try and grind for the helms (doing dungeons over and over), I don't get it. I get the drops when I least expect it.

Problem is that's never going to happen because I hate pve and after I got molag keenas shoulders I left pledges behind for good.

Same here, after 70+ v16 runs for Nerineth i got 1 helm with inpenetrable trait, which is useless in PvE, but I made my peace with it, no way im going to keep farming for better trait..

He must have gone wild, or he must reallly enjoy pvp haha. Also considering it takes much more to run CoA than Spindleclutch . What's the drop rate anyway? 0,05% or something?

This right here is why I haven't yet gone back to farm for my other helms despite knowing I should to max out my dps.

Divine Kena Shoulder and then 2 pcs of Torugs Pact will suffice until later.

I should probably consider myself lucky that I looted v16 helmet on my first try for that helm. I haven't tried any other since, because I certainly don't want to experience this grind. I'm actually quite proud that I ignore this type of content and feel no desire to take part.

Happened on my very first run. 2 hours looking for a healer only for him to get medium armor divines on the first run.

This is more proof they need a Token system, so that those with absolutely terrible RNG have the ability to get stuff.

Same here, i keep getting bloodspawn helmets i never use, but nerienth i have one vr16 with imp and am using it all the time, dont think i will ever get a better one , it is so rare to drop

I feel your pain:

I've done 61 Veteran Pledges in total and many more farm runs for helmets (Bloodspawn, Nerien'eth, Malubeth and Engine Guardian) without ever finding one (think I'm well over 100 dungeon runs, 150 maybe?)

It's so stupid because I wanted to make a healer set so I'd be able to take the healing role besides the usual DPS role in dungeons too (using Bogdan + Kagrenac) or switch from Molag Kena to Bloodspawn so I can make my char a sustain build in PvP instead of ganking, but nada.

Today, I even went up the vWGT (yeah, I know I said I would give up on PvE and never do dungeon runs again, but when a guildie needs help, I can't say no) but none of us got the helmet. Oh, I think we all got something, but just not the purple quality item we were looking for...

Still, on the bright side, I feel kinda glad that I did do vWGT after getting put down by a healer when I wanted to run CoA pledge (managed to score a solid 19k DPS on Kena too and I died as many times as my team mates) so I feel happy again. But if ZOS could please increase the drop chance a bit for these helmets, that would be better.

Cause it's ironic: ZOS is against grinding since they reduced the XP gain from several good spot, but they seem to want us to grind for the gear we need

Oh man I ran Darkshade 40+ times, then only got the helm a month before Vr16 came out.

RNG ruins the game. While I understand fully why it's there, there are other systems that won't ruin the gameplay for the gamers.

It took me over 150 Dark Shade runs to get my first v16 engine guardian helmet.

I've only had 2 helmets drop in all dungeons and I must have done about 350 runs now. It's getting hard to find friends to go with now because they have all the helms they want, RNG plain sucks in this game.

@ZOS_RichLambert please do something about these helms, it is killing our desire to play. It feels close to work rather than enjoyment. I stare at the launch icon on my screen wondering if I really want to subject myself to another round of doing pledges and attempts at nerien helm after months of 0 luck.

For anyone in this thread farming VCOH for the helm, I am on NA server AD. I am ALWAYS looking for people to run this with me when my buddy who usually two mans it with me is not online! We always take extras with us. I am at 86 runs NO FREAKING HELM! 2 months of gold and silver key pledges on TWO characters, and NO neirienth shoulders, but I have 29 spawn of mephalas shoulders.........

Funniest thing is you absolutely dont need those stuff to pvp ....

From the start I decided not to let rng god spoil my fun, so I never even try to get undaunted sets.
Poor you.
Pve is as fun as watching paint dry, I almost died of boredom getting undaunted 9 for the passives, once done I never set a foot again in those crap dungeons.

And the worse part is, the helmet can drop in light sturdy or something.
Maybe an idea could have been to raise the chance of helmet each run?
If there is currently 5% chance of getting a helmet (dont know number, just an example), the chance could increase 1% each dungeon run until you got helmet, then it decreased back to the original percentage droprate.

That is practically the exact same sit for me. So many mephala shoulders, and Lord warden. If anyone wants to run CoH I'm DC, name pc. In game, @shinxi. I will literally drop everything for to go for nerien helm farm. But seriously, has ANYONE gotten this set recently? I've dropped God knows how many keys, and not even a hi to of nerien shoulder, let alone helm.

Ah yes...the RNG pain. Bro it took me 3 months playing everyday on 3 different Vet toons before I got my final piece for a complete set for the Valkyn Skoria. 270 tries before victory was achieved.
