Base Style Motif Concept

So I was thinking about how all these Motifs are either blue, purple, or gold and wondered "well why don't we have a green one?" so I came up with an idea: Basic Style Crafting! Here is how it would work:

First of all: as you all know, fresh characters start off only able to work with their own Race's style. This would not change of course, but since Basic Style would be green-lettered it would not be hard to find.

Now then, how would it look? Well some people have actually been wanting the ability to have high level gear that looks like the lowest level. That's where this comes in! No matter the level you make it, it will look like the most basic type of its kind possible in any game!

How to make it? Well each type of craft could work with different Style Materials rather than using the same one. These materials are likely best obtained via purchase from an NPC, but they would be quite cheap! Say, 5 gold a piece? So you would only pay 1k for 200! Some ideas for what they would be could be things like Sewing Thread and Leather Strips. Not really sure on the metal stuff so feel free to provide ideas if you like this concept lol

Why would anyone want Basic Style gear? Well aside from the above reason and simply giving us a common-rarity Motif since there isn't one at all yet, it really just depends on the person. Might even be useful to RPers! It's also a way to use gear not specific to any race, in case you ever wanted that!

Well feel free to like or hate this idea, but just thought I'd throw it out there lol

P.S. This Motif would be obtained the same way any other is, but I suppose it could be sold by NPC merchants for I suppose 2k?

I think this is a good idea, however you complicated the system maybe too much. I saw in few other games NPC called roughly "Remodeler" or "Stylist". NPC provides simple action of placing desired looks armor in one slot and the target armor in the other slot. Then you just click ok (maybe pay a little) and you are done ! target armor with the looks of the desired one Of course this requires you to have both of them, but alas. This is a challenge. I dont think that ESO game engine would allow "slotted NPC" tough, but it is easy enough to just make another crafting station or (my personal idea) add another tab to armor coloring station to remodel them as well on the go.

There is more than one concept structure involved in your post and they've all been requested before actually lol but yeah my idea is basically just a way to get a more common and less fancy style going for crafting. Something for simplicity basically.
