PS4 Error 308 - Logged out

Since the Orsinium dlc I have noticed this Error 308 is popping up rather frequently.
Its not a problem so much if you are playing the game, but if you are designing a character its a bit annoying.
When I design a new character I like to take my time. I have an artistic idea and within the limited design capabilities I like to create something I'm happy with, so I may look at google images and resources on my laptop while trying to get the facial features right. The Error 308 (logged out due to inactivity) is a little bit quick and then you lose the whole design and have to start again.
If the phone rings or you have to take a bathroom break, maybe grab some munchies while you are designing, you come back in the room to find Error 308, and your design has gone.
Is this log out really necessary?
If whatever reason it is, could the time be adjusted and lengthened.

✭Just timed this, its 5 minutes of inactivity, then you are logged out, even if you are in creation mode.0
