Orsinium: Kuta nodes MIA?

I've asked in the Orsinium zone a few times and others have agreed they have not found any Kuta's nodes since the DLC release. One person said they did get a Kuta from a crafting writs. I play daily, several hours a day, and the past seven days have been strictly in Orsinium to farm for materials and not a single Kuta has been found by me. I pick up every aspect stone I see and I do see them as I have my skill points 3/3 to see them. The last Kuta I found was before November 2nd. I figured I would just ask here in the forum to see if there is a known issue, change and if others have had any luck?

I've had one drop since the patch randomly, and a guild mate has had a heavy sack drop 5, but other than that I haven't seen them at all. I used to get so many...

The drop rate on Kuta is just ridiculously small. The RNG is not on our favor.

For me MIA too . I do 3 writs max level on enchanting so i have a lot of maps. No Kuta till now.

Thank you all for your input. I am glad to hear others have found some so I will keep trying and post when I do happen to get lucky finding a Kuta in Orsinium!

I've found about 3 "in the wild", which is a better drop rate than I'm used to.

I haven't seen any VR16 potency runes though, but I've heard rumours that they do exist in Wrothgar.

I get lots of Denata and the occasional Rekuta and far too many Ta but have not seen a Kuta in so long.

fun fact today i found my first kuta in a aspect rune in the open world. all the others i had to buy or get by writes. since console release so nearly 6 months

The last Survey I got gave me 4 Kuta --- just RNG

Same here (in Wrothgar), plus Jejota. Even the Rekuta drop is so low on my end, probably like the Kuta drop is supposed to be.

Just had kuta drop randomly for me. Had one last night. Survey nodes last week dropped 4x (have the cp passive) and 2x on two nodes. You people not getting it are just unlucky.

the friendly PRNG strikes again. Myself I have found eight of them. You must be persistent. I have not found any V16 glyph to date in Wrothgar. But I am trying.

Correct me if I am wrong but don't you need to have your professions maxed out to get the best resources in Orsinium?

Maybe if you have low level enchanting or no points in it you have a very small chance to get drops from enchanting nodes.

I have found several Kuta in Orsinium since it's released. They are there, but you might find 1 in 25 aspect nodes found.

I have found a few in normal nodes and a couple double kutas from writs in orsinium. I do max enchanter writs on 2 toons and just added a 3rd last night. I get a kuta probably every other day from the writ itself and a double kuta from perhaps 1 out of 5 surveys.

They are definitely more scarce and prices are on the rise, but they are dropping at least for me. I sold about 30 of them last week at 8k a pop.

This seems to be true for some things. My NB is not maxed in enchanting. If I find a blue node, it drops level 1 mats. If I pick up a blue node from a writ on that tune (obtained on another character and passed through the bank) v14-15 mats will drop from blue nodes. Kind of strange. I can't comment on the other stuff because all my vet characters have level 50 in wood, metal and cloth for the hirelings, and alchemy for passives.

I just got a Kuta earlier today from a random Rune outside in Wrothgar. I'm not an enchanter but I collect Runes sometimes (Enchanting skill is only at 10).

I havent found a kuta since IC DLC.I dont go directly to farm them but when i see a aspect rune i loot it asap.Also have you seen the price in the guild stores? almost 10k for a kuta,thats stupid.I have vr 16 gear with only rekuta enchant cause of how expensive and rare kuta has become.It sux.

Funny thing is, I've looted more Denata than Jejota in Wrothgar, only two Rekuta since Wrothgar and not one single Kuta. I've actually had better luck getting Kuta from Stonefalls or Auridon. (both starter zones not Cadwell's)

I've got four. I saved some harvesting numbers to find out Repora drops. I can see kuta dropping about once per 300 rune nodes (including potencies and essences) in Wrothgar. But i am first to admit this is too small sample.

Oddly enough i been getting a bunch from nodes and/or my hirelings as of late. The RNG gods most love me or something. Cause before this I haven't got a Kula from either node or hirelings for a couple months. But within the past week or so I have gotten close to 20. One time I picked up a heavy sack that gave me 2 and a node did once as well. I bet now that I have said this. I will go on a dry spell lol. (knocks on wood)
