How on earth do I get out of a campaign?

Sorry to sound noob here, but I've been trying to get out of my current campaign for about 3 weeks now with no avail. It seems to auto select it again as my home or something. After the campaign ends, shouldn't you be prompted to reset your home campaign once you go into the campaign listings?
Basically, if I'm non-vet and want to try another alliance, I seem kind of screwed, which is what happened. I levelled to 10, then realised I couldn't enter Blackwater because I have like 4 others in a different faction.
I'm not disputing the fact you can't have two alliances in the same campaign on the same account - it makes sense, but leaving your home campaign just seems impossible.

You can set your campaign to automatically change once the current campaign has ended for free.

    Weird.
I just started a topic over in XB1 support.
Trying to rid myself of the Campaign Notifications, I tried to quit the Campaign.
I could not figure out how either.
    It ain't easy being green.

Oh, so by default it automatically signs you up to your home campaign again once it ends?

Yeah, for something that locks you into a campaign for a week, it's certainly a mind-boggling experience trying to get out of it. I feel like I've signed a horrible contract before reading it.

As far as I know you can't reset your home campaign. If you want to set Bwb as home campaign for a character in another alliance you need to change the home campaign of your other characters to another campagin.
The only way to have your home campaign reseted after you chose one is when you reach v1 with bwb as home campaign or when your home campaign gets deleted.

Lol that sucks. Like I said, I have 4 characters in the same campaign. Had I have known it was such a pain to get out of it, I would have made them all guest or something :/

If you're on PC, once your current campaign ends you should be able to choose a new home campaign for free (someone correct me if I'm wrong). It doesn't prompt you to change anything though.

Hmm, the campaign ended not long ago, but I don't see any kind of "get me out of here" button. It's just automagically set my home campaign to blackwater on all the characters, even ones I don't PVP with any more.

If I have to be online the second it ticks over to cancel or change, then I'm sorry, but that's really stupid. There should at least be a couple of days grace period or something.

You should be able to change your campaign for free at the end of the match and it should do it automatically even if your not online at the time. You could also change while the match is till underway though it will cost you AP to do so.

While you can change your home and guest campaign to another (provided you don't already have another character of an opposing faction stationed there), you can't actually leave PvP completely. You will always have to be assigned somewhere. Which can sometimes lead to doing some juggling if you PvP with alts. Why they do it that way I have no idea

Would prefer if they gave a 24 hour notice to confirm if we want to stay in that campaign when the next match start. Those who choose to stay get a buff to AP gains or something for staying with the campaign. Those who choose not to are given any rewards they may have earned at the end of the match and dropped from the roster.

Only time I've ever seen them totally clear the boards was when they added/removed campaigns or when they changed the rules.

I normally just get kicked from the campaign at the end of the week, so I'm not sure what's happening here :/

4 characters in BwB, 1 of them is nearly vet, so I figured I'd delete the other 3.

    2 deletions available. I cri.

Even when you right click over the home campaign you want and select Home? I was able to do that with my vet main last time after my old campaign ended.

I recall some older threads where people were saying there's some kind of issue when you have multiple characters of different factions, but I thought that had been cleared up. (I only have AD characters so never experienced problems.)

You have to pay 150k AP. I submitted a ticket a while a go, got no response elsewhere. I had it stuck with azura as both home and guest campaign, set it to change twice but it didn't so I had to waste the AP.

They are supposed to be adding the ability to unassign your campaign instead of just being able to choose a new one but when they'll get around to adding it is anybodies guess.

Just a little list of the current situation:
    • Deassigning from a Campaign is not possible, but they want to bring it in sometime in the future
    • Reassigning at the end of a Campaign period is cheaper (50 AP instead of 150k AP), but you must make this choice before the actual end of the campaign, because a new campaign starts straight away and existing assignments carry over
    • You can't assign characters of different alliances to the same Campaign, but they want to change this in the future

At least for the only non-vet campaign, this would be great.
