Any plans to make use of the DS4 touchpad?

The DS4 touchpad has two pressure plates (one on the left, one on the right) plus all of the swipe capabilities. Diablo 3 for example uses the left pressure plate to access inventory and the right pressure plate to access skill sets (or vice versa I can't remember).
Any chance we can get this functionality? How about the right pressure plate to activate a synergy attack and the left pressure plate for the usual world map etc? Having to press /\ + O is very prone to errors...
That would probably be the easiest to program since those pressure plates count as physical buttons whereas the swiping motions are software based interpretations. Swiping would be nice to have for hotkey items and such though
