Reward the PvPers by fixing Cyro, we've been here the longest

About the only time I read the forums is when there is maintenance, but it seems in my absence this weekend, alot of people are even more fed up than usual. So I am simply here to appeal to the customer service end of things and whatever sense of logic Zos has. In the customer service world, you tend to want to keep the customers you do have coming back. New customers a re great, but the loyal ones also sign your paychecks each month. If you look at the population of Tamriel, you'll find that those who occupy Cyrodiil have been around for quite some time. We also tend to be the ones who eventually come back to give you a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th chance. We gobble up the new PvE content, even though we spend most of our time in one zone. We keep the in-game economy going because we want good gear. If there's a combat bug, we'll generally notice it first. We also tend not to ask for too much outside of the stability of the game and basic mechanics. Yet week after week, we don't see much attention being paid to us. I don't blame people for getting disgusted.

So Zos, reward us, and pay attention to Cyrodiil before you launch new PvE content. We've been here for 2 years, so it's about time we got some loving from the devs.

They should have fixed cyrodil issues before they launched IC imo. No sense in adding new content when you have problems with current content. Build a strong foundation before adding on to it. This is why I haven't pvp for a while now. Before I played both pvp and pve. Now it's just been pve only. I miss my 2 toons who I made specifically for pvp. Please ZOS fix cyrodil so I can bring my toons out from retirement.

PvP was severely ruined (notice the double negatives?), not only is it sometimes unplayable but the patches were horrible, much like ward and damage nerf. PvP is an absolute joke right now, there is little to no skill required kill people in Cyrodiil. It's very discouraging to see a company that treats is most valuable customers this way.

I've never had lag issues with Cyro. My problem is fps drop in big battles (and small scale battles are really hard to find).

I agree that Cyrodiil lags and issues should be fixed sooner rather than later, since it can get nearly unplayable sometimes. I only PvP occasionally but the only time my game really really lags is in Cyrodiil and IC.

Now as to who's been here the longest, or who's more loyal to the game... that's a matter for debate.

Cyrodiil is the most replayable content in the game... Why have they not put more resources into fixing it? So many people PVE just so they can be strong in PVP. This mean that if Cyrodiil is in great working condition, then players are more likely to buy DLCs that have the best gear so they can test it out in PvP

It would be nice to hire mercenary Mudcrabs riding voracious Slaughterfish! Even more so in a lagfree Cyrodiil with the battle numbers as advertised.
You are all on a treadmill. While you happily invested more and more points into damage and sustain. ZOS was busy nerfing Helping Hands passive from DK, Leeching strikes passive from nightblade, dark deal from sorc. Making class abilities more homogenized and less unique, all to pay for the power gained by the champion system.

So you never see an increase in ping rate? Are you on your own private server? If not, I respectfully call BS.

i dislike pvp but i have seen the lag there. it is bad and only gets worse. i WILL go there from time to time to RP with cross factions maybe have mini battles but in no way do i enjoy full scale things. Call me a PVE "scrub" as many do but for the sake of those who do pvp i hope it gets fixed, that and the ungodly long load times AFTER a new patch -_-

Wait, wait... I created my character in the first few minutes of the game being available for pre orders. I didn't even quit the game to give them a 4th or 5th chance... why are you guys suddenly more important?

Here is one idea: Let the PvP team come up with things for PvP and the others can do their jobs. Maybe halting all game updates until one of your fetishes in ready is not such a good idea.

Bad way to name your post, OP. I played the last few betas and have been a non-stop subscriber since early access. While I did PvP at one time, I don't any more. Am I suddenly less deserving of the devs' attention? You're contributing to an "us vs. them" sentiment that can only hurt the game.

Yes, PvPers are not the most important players in the game nor have they been here the longest. ZOS needs to come up with a solution for the lag for sure but there are other MMOs that have exactly the same issue. It may not be fixable.
I have a Bosmer, three cats, 2 Imps, an orc, a very short high elf and my favorite vamp. I own just about every pet and mount in the game. I can officially say "I'm in deep!"

There is an easy fix for some of the lag though it would still be there, they cold make skills have a cool down in the pvper area given the lag really picks up on some skills.

*throws up hands* cool downs were just suggested for ESO in PVP areas (despite those also having myriad PVE content). Time to go back to games which don't balance around one aspect and damage the others accordingly.

Been here since Beta 14 by the way.

Typical post by a typically egocentric PvPer.

Well, Mr Wonderful, heres a new flash for you.
PvPers are the bane of all MMO/RPGs.

All you people do is whine about, well, everything, and for some unknown reason, the Devs actually listen to you.
Nothing is fair, everything is OP, unless of course, it favors you personally.
Blah blah blah .... we've heard it all before, and I think I speak for many when I say, "We're tired of it".

Stick to your shooters and leave the RPGs/MMOs to us real gamers.

while i agree the lag seriously needs looking at, i really dislike this whole us and them crap, why do people keep bringing it up?

there is no more important group ZoS needs Both PvPers and PvEers(and all in between) to keep there game going, why does it always have to be one vs the other?

I too rarely pvp been playing the game as it were since aug 2013. BTW I do not recall at that time there being any pvp testing. So here first seems unlikely and while I can agree that it would be nice to fix certain aspects of the game ....pvp is but one part of the game.

You did get some love from the devs. You got another zone in which you can kill the hapless pve players called Imperial City. That was real recent as in September. It might not have been all that you wanted I understand but it is not as though there has been nothing at all. Honestly many of the tweaks and balancing and the cap for cp's have been for PVP. Yes I know this does not address the lag/drop in frame rate or what not people experience.

I get it. The constantly squeaky wheel gets greased /oiled/ changed and what not. It is why we have the constantly screaming nerf this or that class/ skill or mechanic (slot whatever new high pitched whine this week one can think of) from the pvp crowd on consistent basis. Since many of these things have changed I do think that they do listen and give love.. even to the detriment of some other parts of the game. (Had to wait for new content for the playstyle I prefer until this last bit. Had toons that needed to be revamped due to PVP changes. I won't even go into the frustrations of constant crashes and so on.) You (pvp people) are not a special snowflakes you are just another part of the snow drift. Quit with the guilt trip attempts. You are NOT more deserving of attention then any one else and you have not been ignored. (Though honestly sometimes wish they would. Maybe then other things would get done.)

Nah, fix skies to be more dark, release unicorns as mounts, make more motifs, player housing, let female armor show more skin and create a barber shop. Well that's what the community of this game is worried about anyway....

PVP players exhibit a different mentality to PVE players. Teamwork and friendship is replaced with selfishness and Tbagging.
Insulting people on the internet is cowardly.
