Grind champion points, grind VR levels, grind gear, grind gold, grind crafting, grind material collection, grind skill levels, grind alliance points, etc, etc. ENOUGH! Grinds are NOT supposed to be the focus of any game. They aren't fun. They are stale and boring. Games have to be able to stand on their own merit. Get rid of the stupid RNG or balance it out with a token system. Get rid of bind on pickup items. Give guaranteed crafting survey drops for completing writs. Allow traits to be altered on all gear drops, etc, etc
2) Character appearance change. Nothing turns me off starting a new character more than knowing I can't change its appearance on the fly when I get bored of it. Appearance change / character customization is the biggest money generator in all free to play MMOs. Why wasn't this in the game the moment it went buy to play?
3) One of the worst things about ESO is that it sets up gated content all over the place.
ie.
* Guild trader system locks the majority of people out of selling the items they find.
* Those who didn't buy IC are virtually locked out of VR16 gear because you NEED to have IC in order to easily enchant your gear. There is no point even attempting to get the gear if you can't enchant it.
* Craglorn was gated by the fact you needed to be in a group in order to complete the content.
* Cyrodill became gated the moment the champion point system was introduced.
* Vet maelstrom is gated by the fact you need near max champion points and really good gear in order to complete it.
Gating content is not a good thing. It is game destroying.
