Rawl'kha - King of Towns

Of all the towns and cities I've visited in Tamriel, Rawl'kha in Reapers March is the one I return to every time between quests to sort out inventory. Shops, crafting and bank all close to each other, that sweet desert vibe, no other town comes close to it. Is there a better one out there?

    Nop.
Khajiiti Towns are Best Towns. Dune is nice too, but Rawl'kha is moar comfortable

Shornhelm and Riften are both better, IMHO. The only thing that Rawl has going for it is that the guild traders are close by, too. But I don't go shopping that much.

    Nord cities ? really?
Nords are drunk and racist ! .. .And they don't have fur ! Why would even set foot on a city with people like that ?

    # Edit.
You know, scratch that, Drunks are fun. My issue is with the racist thing

Poor Frauin has been in the stocks for months there. He really has a habit of knocking over carts while trying to avoid capture after stealing from merchants.

    My 2 Preferences are:

Elden Root: while you do have to hop up a level once you get there, all the crafters and bank are in an extremely close circle. No Zoning needed. Rawlkha is similar, but you have to zone for the bank. Pick your poison on that one I guess. Benefit of Edler Root is many other facilites (skill reset, Undaunted camp) are nearby.

Dhalmora(Ebonheart) - king of camps! no zoning (small run from waypoint). even smaller circle then Edlen and rawlkha. best town of all, bank is literally a few steps from all the crafters and vendors.

Dhalmora is probably the easiest and most efficient of them all...but I usually play AD, so it's either Elden or Rawl, and i usually end up at elden. i do multiple trips to the bank on my stopoffs, and zoning every time for that irritates me.

Velyn Harbor in Malabal Tor is the best in my opinion. Small city with everything close together, all crafting right under the same roof. Enchanting/alchemy in one building, bank and cooking in the other building.

Yeh if it had guild traders it would be my first choice.
But as it is, it's Rawhl for me.

Rawl'Kha for shopping. Riften for deconstructing when my guild bank gets full.

I got fed up recently with the amount of stuff to decon. I just stopped doing writs altogether and sell everything to merchant. Will come back to it later.

It used to be Rawl'Kha. But then.............LOADING SCREENS. Even some of the top guilds have relocated to other regions. Now it's easier to take a few more seconds in my present location than spend a few minutes in LOADING SCREENS. :'(

Do not like RawI'Kha. I instead like Belkarth best. Not too crowded (at least when I am on), everything close, and I can port to anyplace I need. 2nd would be Elden Root for it's pledge central on my AD chars + guild store shopping :)

Dhalmora & Belkarth are my most frequent banking /shopping areas. You can't beat Dhalmora for the closeness of all the crafting tables to the bank & merchants! It only lacks a cooking fire & a horse trainer. You do have to put up with a lot of Argonians erecting their various spines at you in a very creepy way.. LOL

Belkarth is a close seconds.. everything is fairly close & it has a cooking fire , horse trainer & good guild store kiosks.
