Elder Stamina Online - Is this game really so biased against Magicka?!?

I know that looking at the skill and abilities makes it seem that things are unfair and the world is out to get you. However Magicka out performs Stamina for most area's, so perhaps everyone shouldn't have the exact same buffs and abilities and perhaps we can be good in different area's and be fine with that and perhaps there is more to balancing than looking at a few select abilities.

I read the title and can't help but think this is a troll thread. Having started the game playing a Magicka Sorc, then a couple months ago went Stamina Sorc until last week when I started a new Magicka Sorc... I can honestly say that Magicka just obliterates Stamina, albeit maybe not as much fun doing so.

Example... against Group Bosses... with a Stamina Sorc, I'd have to rely on Overload to beat them solo. With a Magicka Sorc, I have been able to (so far) beat all Group Bosses using my normal Sorcerer abilities instead of relying on Overload.

That's a small example, but when spec'd fully into Magicka, I can definitely outperform my Stamina Sorc characters along with the fact that my Hardened Ward is now much, much harder.
