The lag that cyrodiil servers experience at primetime is a joke. I've come to the conclusion that this game will always be a pve based game. It's never going to be able to hold stable pvp servers. Tired of getting sucked back into this game when all it does is disappoint in the end. Sure there are your fun moments every now and then, but each update is always just a ever so slight disappointment. I'm disappointed in the developers.

We have told them this time after time but it feels like the problems in PvP and with PvP players are secondary to PvE and PvE players. I was looking forward to holding the districts in IC against waves of daedra and enemy players while finding out what was going on but forget that lets make this DLC about getting the insane amount of mats required to make vet 16 gear, aimless PvP, and all about making a PvE zone in Cyrodiil to pop lock the servers with PvEers and leave the PvPers wondering how a PvP DLC could go so wrong. Oh I also forgot to mention about how each DLC the lag get worst and nothing is getting done about it.

✭✭What pisses me off is that they force large scale pvp onto everyone, when their own servers obviously can't handle it. Personally I love large scale pvp, but only if it actually worked. -

They did handle it in the past, but some tinkering under the hood and then no more

✭Thats exactly my thoughts as well, it seems it can just handle one Campaign thats it. I think they should just overhaul it to make sure it has the best possible performance and also make Cyrodil stand-alone F2P game, that should increase Zen's funds too for a better servers. malchior✭✭✭Pretty much they did a bait and switch. When the game launched they were advertising Alliance vs Alliance, hence, the 3 characters, High elf, Breton and Nord all fighting for the throne. This advertising continued on.
Now the majority of content is PvE. IC was suppose to be implemented earlier than it was and is pretty much the only new 'PvP' content (if you can call it that).
It always feel like that the shareholders are directing the game towards PvE to compete with WoW or the like, and the AvA game was given the boot. Sad really.
