Well shoot. Other than Questing in Orsinium which is Yay for a week or so - it is just like I always feel like I am standing around looking at myself.

No one who can actually clear wants to do anything because 'Meh it doesn't drop anything worth all that time...' I am all 'Because it's FUN! xD We can just derp around and have fun! Surely it's better than standing around looking at each other! xD'

Nope. Clearly, it ain't.

Why not update all loot tables to drop actually useful stuff?

I actually had to go and UNLOAD THE DISHWASHER!! In the middle of a Sunday!

as long as you get some XP... there's at least a LITTLE bit of a point.

But honeslty, if everything drops "useful stuff" then we run the risk of everything becoming useless by comparison.

I still haven't done Craglorn, I'd like to do it but people don't seem to want to do it after they've grinded to vr16.

I don't see why not, it's content and you may as well full clear the area.

Sadly, not the case for everyone. I've been playing my VR characters actively since march this year, so over 501 CP already. Why the XP feels a bit pointless. It's awesome that people get a chance to catch up for sure, just would love some kind of progression in Orsinium myself. At least some useful loot :disappointed:

The quest-line is amazing. The map is nicely done. But once you done it on a few characters, you sort of need more reasons than "nice scenery" to keep repeating. Not even craft writs comes with anything new or useful, you just loose a bunch of money by doing them.

There's one gear set that's nice for stamina users for sure, maybe people will get it after 3 months of grind, but rests is just junk.

Some of my guildmates and I run S/O for practice should the day come when we get another trial.

I don't want them to necessarily scale the VR12 gear in the Trials, but the Exp, Gold, Leaderboard and Coffer you get should at least be scaled.

If they buffed craglorn to battle scaled VR16 and it gave rewards and exp for VR16.....

Boom you just gave a massive boost to the multiplayer group content in the game and turned a dead zone into an active one. Orsinium is awesome but it lacks group content massively.

I doubt they will do it though because it doesn't make them any money improving old zones and content....and who would buy orsinium if you can get same rewards without paying extra...

I agree I don't want to do anything unless it drops something useful. I put a lot of hours into this game i want want those hours to be as productive as possible. Not knocking those who play quests for fun. I did save a few alts to run through Orsinium so that i can level them and enjoy the content while still being productive. I heard it was very well done so i may change my mind about the quests after experiencing it.

If the quests had a chance to drop tempers and materials like that i would do more of them.

I've said the same thing repeatedly. If they want to give everyone room to play they have to make it available. Also, they could easily create a small 1500 crown DLC that updated Crag if they wanted the cash flow from it. To say nothing of cool skins/mini atro pets.

I grind CP, and gold. I level alts and do writs. Not sure what doing basic quests over and over will do for me that grinding a mob for two hours with an xp potion won't do better.

My op wasn't about basic quests.

I mean Vet DSA, VWGT, VCOA, VCOH and stuff like that. Just go and do it for fun - but that's a 'no go' any more.

    Not quests.

CP are now Capped at 501 unless I misunderstand and I have a few million gold. I really don't need any more gold.

Anyway - as long as you're still having fun in game, then it's all good there.

I am not wanting to farm or stand around and LFG but No one who CAN clear this content wants to and no one who cannot seems to want to even try.

How have they nerfed Shada's Tear?

Did you do it ever when Craglorn first came out?

    Omg.

Damage is way less, and it seems to me (although I would need to read all patch notes ever) the main boss has much less HP.

You can just burn her down now (and for the last several months) without employing any of the mechanics involved.

Even if you just search this forum for Shada's Tear, I know I am not alone at all here.

It used to be an AMAZING fight requiring coordination, spatial awareness, and attention and now you can just burn her.

This is the default for games. As new content is released, older content becomes deprecated and ignored by many players. Just look at WoW. There are *tons* of really cool zones that were super popular until a later expansion made them obsolete.

In order to stop this happening to ESO, two things need to happen. First, we *need* cross faction overworld zones. Right now, if you want to do any of that content, you are not able to play with 2/3 of the other players who are also looking to do this content. Second, we need a lobby-based grouping system. If I'm looking for a group for old content, I should just be able to make a room in the group finder. Other players will be able to see me and also join in. Right now, you have to rely on zone and guild chat to do this, and it just doesn't happen anymore.

I mean chances of purple recipes and motifs or crafting mats (Laurel, Malachite - a whole one or some pieces, the new csomething sand) on all pledge bosses, random very small chance of 100k gold on final boss, no more of the old stuff like the Ebon set, the manbull shield etc. Like get rid of that stuff utterly.

Those things wouldn't become useless except the things that already are useless.

There are still newer players who would love to complete AA, Hel Ra etc and I am different from many as I am still willing to teach these but I have a hell of a time getting any other good player to want to bother because oooh Teh Yokedeh is just not worth it.

Adding to that that a lot of people now feel that these trials are beneath them - which they are - but which I don't understand is still worse than standing around logged in doing nothing.

What are you up to? Nothing. Wanna come help me with some folks clearing AA? Naw. Nothing good in there.

Once it comes out for us on console, I'm just going to grind it for awhile to get some good scores until I get bored of it. Then I'm just gonna go play something else. No interesting/ good sets from it (seriously, who thought of those) and no other content.

I am all up for some Craglorn quests! We did a big portion of it, but I still have some storylines to complete!

And I know how you feel, it's the same here.. Unfortunately I don't have as much time to play anymore. :c I haven't even cleared a single IC dungeon....

And almost all the fun and good people have quit! Because god knows wiping 20 times in Vet Darkshade Caverns ain't so fun.

In general, I think this game is losing what I initially played it for - the community. Nobody ever wants to help, unless they benefit from it too, they don't pay back favors... Everybody is just too busy with themselves, doing their own ***, questing all alone, or just carelessly going through something they 'have to do', like a pledge for example. It's just sad..

Orsinium has solid xp from creation right up to V16. No other zone can say that.

It has two daily quests which both have the potential to drop some great loot.

It has the top tier nodes in the game, harvestable from really low levels potentially.

The only other zone remotely comparable is Cyrodiil.

I'm struggling to figure out what the OP actually wanted that wasn't delivered.

Yeah I really enjoyed Crag's quests. They should be done by anyone who likes story.
Some people would love to but the 1990s group-or-die design of Craglorn means most who weren't around when the land-rush took place never will get the chance.
