Being kicked from Server due to excess Spam? When I have not typed anything.... nor has anything been typed into the chat window by any of my addons..
I assume it is an addon causing this, because every-time I open the bank I get kicked
Just did some testing and it was the X4D Bank addon,
This is silly, I have been back playing this game for 6 months now and have not seen one case of malicious spam, eg gold sellers, only spam I have seen is from Trolls, and the game is changed somehow to block spam, there was no need or reason to do this... no addons I have post anything to the world, only to me,
Absolutely no reason for me to be kicked

✭✭I got kicked once for opening too many barrels too fast in a tiny solo dungeon.
I think it's more sensitive when the server is working hard. Or I just click E real fast.0 -
Parrotbrain✭✭✭As I understand it, it happens when you temporarily disconnect from the game and your client keeps spamming the server with control messages, then when you reconnect all of them flood the server at once. It has nothing to do with chatting.0 -

When you open your bank you say? Do you have a sorter addon like roomba? is the one you have similar ? That could do it though it never has for me... How laggy is it? Because more often then not it would seem, its the effect of lag plus simple actions that cause this. Your movement and skill commands are 'messages' to the server. I have no lag... i disabled the addon and it has stopped, but it is still silly for such a change to be made to the game, this did not happen before the last patch0
