This is just from a console perspective and I know PC get it too)
Now, let me just say.. it isn't
always lagging in Cyrodiil, abilities aren't
always locking up and there isn't
always a few second delay on everything you do, but it's interesting to just look at the comparison of how smooth it used to be, EVEN on console, back in June 2015 when it was released for console, compared to now, especially when around 20+ other enemy players etc.
I honestly don't know what kind of constructive criticism to give when it comes to the technical side, but I remember Fengrush and Sypher discussing on the '
WE ARE ESO PODCAST' about how Cyrodiil used to be able to handle 200+ players in the
same area without much lag whatsoever, and Fengrush brought up a few possible causes and I don't exactly remember what he said, but it was related to either the new lighting details that were implemented in a(?) patch, or server related.
Anyway, I just created this within the last hour from a few saved clips I had laying around on my PS harddrive and I was quite surprised to see how smooth things were on the first footage, compared to what we have now.
