Still trying to get engine guardian head

Havent had it drop for me since vet 2, my buddys been playing for a month and 1st 3 runs got it 3x at v16 sooooo eff your rng your rng is poop. That is all.

They really do need to take a look at it....fix the RNG so it's more balanced across everyone in group not just damage dealers or the same player getting all the drops and another player getting nothing for 2 months straight....

Or put in a kind of token system or exchange system. Trade 2 items you don't want for one that you do or something, maybe after 20+ runs you can pick an item for gold or tokens...

But yeah something needs to be done. I am really liking how rewarding Orsinium Zone is, it feels like progression and rewards should, but everwhere else in the game feels grindy, non rewarding or instances that are extremely heavy RNG dependent.

It's a fact, the harder you try to get something in this game, the less your chances are.

It's factored into the RNG. Heard it here first.

try this, make one attempt at it per week, you'll have it in 1-3 weeks.

I'm very pro-token, I believe that tokens with the caveat that gear purchased is BoP, would solve a lot of player frustration.

I have ran vet DC over 100x now with 1 helm drop, heavy well-fitted. That there is some seriously *** up rng xD

Over 150 vet 16 dungeon runs now (various dungeons) no helmets.

I just love going with people for their first time, they always get the helmet. RNG sucks in this game.

I got a medium helm on my first vet dungeon run. I figure that means my RNG is burnt out for a long time. With a few saved up keys, I get no shoulders of any kind yet but I got a mercenary motif.

My hubbie landed 3 pairs of heavy shoulders and a mercenary motif with the same keys. *sigh*

It's never dropped for me on any level.I've gone through almost 50 keys, gotten a bunch of the shoulders but not engine guardian. I don't even think the shoulders come from chests anymore. In fact, I think anyone with the set hacked ZOS or held some poor programmers family at ransom till they got it.

Same here bro, I've been playing for months and no drop. At first, I was aiming for bloodspawn, been doing it few times a day if its Spindleclutch pledge that day, nothing. Same with Darkshade Caverns

Got really tired of playing dungs.

Similar experience.

I am very keen to get the engine guardian.
I have all the shoulders, every single piece save for engine guardian. And have no helmets at all. Tried darkshade caverns a lot, no luck. Buddy comes along, he gets it. Comes along with his other toon next day, gets it. WTF?

I've got 4 heads... but haven't had the shoulders drop in about 200-250 pledge completions.

Now that's is some *** RNG... I got 6 skoria shoulders though so thanks Zeni, I would of liked it if you didn't nerf it to total uselessness. #l2balance!

I only have 3 monster helms, I have the same experience with this.

1x vr11 Engine Guardian Medium Well-fitted
1x vr3 Bogdon the Nightflame Light Impen
1x vr16 Maw of the Inferno Medium Reinforced

Considering the fact I have 3 of the maw shoulders, 3 or 4 of the engine guardian, pretty *** RNG.

Been trying to get a VR16 version of Engine Guard for god knows how long. Everyone I'm running with kept getting theirs eventually. They dont want to go again after that of course

Before the cap got to 16 I ran dark shade so much to get the helm, But no luck.. I guess the eso gods were rewarding me for my efforts hahaha

You're lucky you have the shoulders and have had the helm in the past. I've had neither drop for me, ever, in the past 1 1/2 years.

Never had Bloodspawn shoulder either or head of Malubeth. It's like ZOS doesn't want me to be a tank. I keep telling myself it's because I'd be to OP if I did have them!

Should let you trade them within your group while in the dungeon. Once you leave, they bind.
