Is this what Craglorn was like when it was new?

So I'm going through Orsinium picking up the quests and taking out the world bosses and in general having a great time (although I'm experiencing a really high rate of "chest poachers" :# in this zone for some reason). The zone being packed with players obviously is playing a large role in why it's so much fun to run around in. I assume Craglorn was like this when it was new - just packed with players and really easy to find groups? Kind of sad to see how empty Craglorn is now. I wonder if Orsinium will also end up being as empty as Craglorn is once people move on to the next new area.

After i put 11 people on my ignore list last night (for the first time ever since april 2014) i had a wonderful and immersive time in Orsinium

I think the difference with Craglorn is that there are no widely know exploits or xp loops so people actually bother to do the quests

And the landscape is very nice, although the delves in Craglorn were great too, sadly i only went in there once for the skyshards..

Every major patch looks like the end of the world but somehow i just cannot stop playing.

I haven't made it to Craglornyet, but last night the amount of people in Orsinium (along with zone shouts for help with world bosses and such) really reminds me of the first couple zones when the game was new. Everyone crammed into one zone ;)

I think one of the benefits that Orisinium has over Craglorn is the daily world boss and daily delve quests (although I still have not found the location where you pick up the latter). It gives people a reason to come back to the zone (besides the resource nodes) and to attempt non-dungeon content. I'd love to see something similar implemented for Craglorn, honestly, although I don't know if that's possible.

Orsinium as empty as Craglorn? Only if the developers don't learn from their mistakes. Mistakes meaning nerfing XP in Craglorn. But I think it's great with so many players running around. Zone chat is even used by veterans. Not just for the usual LFG /WTT/WTS they seem to have as their only vocabulary*, but actual conversations. Wonderful.

No need to wonder. Of course it will.

This is what I like about Console right now. No matter where you go the game is still alive with players leveling in the lower zones. Bleakrock is still very active months after the games launch.

Yeah, I really regret not being around for the game's launch, because it's just so awesome to be going through the quests/zones at the same time everyone else is. Kicks the entire experience up another notch.

When craggers was new everyone was complaining about the difficulty of the mobs and the fact that you could not solo the quests. Everyone was also grinding tombs and those red starwells to get to v12, as there was a big XP gap between finishing cadwell's gold and v10...

The Orisinium world bosses are hard enough that I think most people will never be able to solo them - what I love about the zone right now is that it's so easy to find people to do the bosses with. You don't have to use the LFG tool or even shout out in zone chat. Just wait at the boss location for a few minutes and soon you'll have enough people to make the attempt to take out the boss. I love how fast-paced it is. Craglorn is just so empty that if you don't go in with a group, you're going to have difficulty finding anyone to quest with/delve with when you're there. Orisinium does not have that problem.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.. as I mentioned, I haven't made it to Craglorn (Still finishing Gold up on my V16 main lol) - but aren't there daily quests in the delves in Craglorn? I swear I heard there were.

There are, they were designed for groups though and some require 4 members to complete, although in terms of difficulty they can be soled by v14.
