Bug/Lag killed in Maelstrom Arena

Was attempting to do Maelstrom Arena on Veteran. Got killed by an 8k damage hit when I had 12k health left.

Not sure if it's a bug, lag (80-90ms ping rate) or what.
Also curious if any stamina melee/bow builds have completed it. I find it nearly impossible to use melee on the boss on round one. You can't dodge roll his shots cause there is no reaction time before they hit you. Also, with all the incoming hits, blocking and dodge roll use up so much stamina you have none left for healing (Rally/Vigor) or doing damage.

✭This is a bug that Sorcs seem to suffer from the most, and apparently shows up most commonly with using Surge and bow attacks at once. There was a very informative thread about it a week or tow ago, but obviously ZOS still haven't fixed the issue...I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

MrBeatDown✭✭✭✭Its lag. I think too many people are running the dungeon and its causing complications for others. I get hi ping when im in there too. This is a dungeon that you need the absolute best ping to play in. 1 mistake will kill you, so lag is OP in this dungeon.0 -
