Anyone else have the Invitation Letter item still in their bags even after completing the quest and reading it?
Think mine is bugged and I can't find it in the Journal for lorebooks either, eidetic memory etc.

✭✭✭✭✭I believe once the quest is complete, it moves from Quest Items into the main inventory space. Then, you can read it to make sure it's been added to your Eidetic Memory. Once you've read it, I think it's completed its purpose, so you can delete it. (It would be better if it removed itself once you read it.) No, for some reason it doesn't leave the inventory anyway, even after you read it. I just checked on PTS, and it no longer appears to be there either. In the Eidetic Memory it should be called "Orsinium Welcomes Heroes and Champions!", but I can find neither that nor "Letter of Introduction" in any of the collections.

✭✭✭Ok I have spoken to others and they have same issue, it is not being removed from their bags when they read it and it is not being added to the lore book journal because it looks like ZOS forgot to add it to the lore book journal?
I have checked every single list I can not find it in lore book journal and it is not there.....I read it....it stays in my bags and no "lore book discovered" comes on the screen...I also have completed the quest so it's not that either.
As someone who collects all the lore books this is bugging the hell out of me not to mention taking up a slot in my bags. I don't want to delete it incase it's bugged and it does not get added to my lore library.

I looked. And looked. And looked. Rather than telling me to 'just look again', why not tell me where it's listed and what its listed name is?

Sorry to necro this thread, but I found it in my lore library. It's under Orsinium Archive and is called "Invitation to Orsinium." The letter is still in my inventory even though it's showing that I've read it in the library. Check and see if it's showing up for you. Should be safe to delete it.
