next one will be probably Murkmire, or Thieves guild/assassins guild (Mephala`s realm).

I have read here somewhere, that they want to release a DLC every quarter.

@KenaPKK - Well if they cannot make the content work we will settle for new content, RIGHT?

If I was running Zennimax i would now try to focus on FIXING the CORE of ESO,
Getting the code streamlined, maybe re-writing some of the cr@p we have in a far better way.

Then implement that in the next quarter so that any changes/new dlc's we bring in can more reliably be implemented....

I also believe that the last resort(which was done last week) or throwing more resources at the problem is NOT going to solve it.....

Zenni you need to do some investigations into the issues and find the SOURCE of the problem and fix it, don't try to fix the symptoms........

Theres post on homepage, next one is Thief with new Trial and they talk about it after new year.

you have to have both new content and fixes. also give pvpers something next patch. even if its mainly a pve patch. give us an arena or dueling area or capturable IC districts. SOMETHING

If they'd focus on fixing all the problems this game has the amount of effort would equal multiple DLCs. That's how hard they have been screwing up till now. That's why I also have no hope on ever getting a working Cyrodiil.
It's easier and more money in the short term just releasing a DLC (with a lot of bugs) every 3 months.

We need a new main story quest that you unlock at v16 and offers something good at the end like gear thats part of a set.

I'm a senior software engineer in real life, and what I can say about their capacity to fix bugs vs adding new contents is ... well it depends on the good health of their source code.

If their source code is in a good shape, then fixing bugs is not a big deal and shall not require a lot of coding resources even if they have a lot of bugs to fix. Most of their coding resources can be used to add new contents. For instance, 20% of their developers can fix bugs while 80% of them can focus on added values.

But if their source code is a big mess, with a lot of technical debts and workarounds, then they are in big troubles. Technical debts are to the software industry what financial debts are to the economy: they prevent companies to move on as they would like to, thus limiting their capacity to make profits. Fixing bugs is not easy in that case because fixing one thing here breaks another thing there. Obviously, this is a situation no one wants to face: most of the developers are focused on stabilizing the code instead of adding value.

Well, I hope their source code is in a good shape. After all, despite the fact we're sometimes fed up with bugs, annoying combat mechanics, class imbalances, etc..., we all want the game to be successful, don't we?

Not too long ago when ZOS was busy trying to fix things instead of coming out with content, the comments and threads were "OMG I JUST WISH THEY WOULD RELEASE MORE CONTENT" now it is "WE DON"T WANT CONTENT, WE WANT FIXES!!"

Haha, the cyclic nature of things.

I am happy with the content coming, even if there are a few bugs, so long as they continue working on them simultaneously.

LOL ... Two things zos can do right.
1 Make amazing looking zones. (Note the people who do make the zones, team up with the programmers from black desert.... You guys will make bank and loyal customer support.)
2 Make new and more frequent bugs.

Never ask zos to fix bugs, you get 3 new ones as a trade off. bill gate's thing of hiring the most laziest people. Because they find the fastest way to get things done ..... Does not always work.

first zos will need to consolidate the teams, then teach them a universal way to program in the one language. Half of the errors come from multiple ways to program in the one language. Tough thing to try and do in there situation, its not that any of them are bad programmers. Just one person programs something leaves notes // "this is what im doing here ..." works fine programmed and working. Next person comes along to take over and has a different way of programming and changes that piece done earlier to make his or hers work. In theory that should work right? NO. causes more problems than you can imagine.

Post the code on the forums for upcoming patches ... ill put $100 down that someone reads over the code and fixes something.

I´d take acutal pvp content aswell.
The content they delivered failed bc they could not implement in a way that would have been fitting bc of DLC limitations.

As probably every content from now on will be paygated and therefor can not be of any relevance in pvp (else it would be p2w) people want fixes rather than useless content splitting an already dwindling playerbase.
