It would be nice if they left things they put in the Crown store there for at least two months. There isnt that much there to begin with.I'd love to buy the Undead horse, but I cant.It will be gone before I get paid on the 3rd.Plus a couple of other things that are there but wont be after the 2nd of Nov. Boo,I say. XD

That does not make good, economical sense for ZoS. There should be a variety of things left in the store permanently, and then special "limited time" items only available for a week or two at a time .... which is the way it currently is.

If nothing is wrong, don't try to fix it.

    "if theres nothing wrong dont fix it" actually depends on who thinks it needs fixing.I do,and you dont. :}
I dont agree with the week or two bit because some people dont get paid weekly, but get paid by the month.
Why would it bother you if they extend the time for a month? What harm would it do you? Would it interfere with your gameplay? I dont think it would. It DOES make good economical sense for ZOS. They are missing out on making more money as it is. More people would be able to purchase things if they had more time to get the money to buy the crowns. As it is now, they miss a lot of sales due to people getting their paychecks at different times of the month. Also, most people need to make sure their bills are all paid before spending any funds on crowns.
Limited time things should be an extended period of at least a full month.THEN remove them. Not a week or just the weekend,as a few things have been.I see no reason it would cause a problem.

I'm so glad you buy limited things because they are limited. Your point?
It is still "limited" even if it is there for a month. Then removed. However if it is there for even 30 days others can have more time to have the funds to get the things too.

(somehow I think the concept of a 30 day "limited" item is beyond some people)

I don't want to be that guy, but if you are living paycheck to paycheck, I would advise you financially to not be purchasing $10-$20 skins in a video game. You could also use a credit card to buy crowns if there is something you absolutely need.

Making things limited is a marketing tactic that pushes hesitant buyers over the edge. You can't blame ZOS for making things limited to increase potential sales.

Please dont think I am being mean, but never presume to advise anyone what they should or should not do with their money. Some people like to pay their bills, etc, before buying anything. If I choose to buy as many crowns as I wish,it is my business to do so,right? I dont use credit cards either.I hate them.Never had one, never will. I buy when I buy,as do most people.
What bother is it to anyone to have limited items in the store for a couple of extra weeks? Why does it bother you?
It's fine to have items in the "limited" area for 30 days,no more.If I said six months that wouldnt be cool,or even three months.Just a simple 30 days. Some people have the money, just not on the dates some things come out.I have quite a large check, every month, but it came out just the day AFTER the Zombie horse went out of the crown store.I really wanted to get it too.It wasnt in there very long, and I have seen other people's posts on how they missed getting certain things,so I just posted here my opinion.

I buy my crowns ahead of time to prevent missing something I want, due to nearly missing items I wanted badly in the past like the polar bear mount.

Zeni should extend the limited time to at least a few more days longer than it is currently, I don't believe that would harm anyone and I do believe the limited time is a bit too limited. What is 2-5 extra days really, if anything just makes it less stressful for some people.

However 30 days limited time is extreme, they release 'limited' items every month, so actually them doing that wouldn't make much sense.

Also like someone else said, limited time items are brought back after awhile for a 2nd chance. Not sure about holiday items like the zombie horse though, those might be a yearly one time thing.

I agree that they should have items available for a bit longer.

Waiting to get paid isn't an issue in my case as I usually have enough money (or leftover crowns) to buy things when I want them. My problem is that I'm frequently away from home for a few days at a time so I can't log in to make the purchase. At least once I've had to come home and immediately get on the computer to buy something because it was the very last day it'd be available.

I completely understand making things limited so that people who might otherwise hesitate will get on and buy it, and so some proportion of people will be persuaded to buy it for the imagined 'prestige' of having a limited time item.

But that needs to be balanced against the risk of someone who is willing to buy it missing out because of the short availability, as that also loses ZOS money.

While I agree with the sentiment, it is possible that they used their entertainment budget for something else and wait for the next paycheck to replenish their entertainment budget. Probably wishful thinking on my behalf though.

I'm not sure that credit cards are relevant as they don't mean that you should spend money you don't have. Credit cards are great for convenience, but using them to buy things you don't have the cash to cover is a horrible habit.

While I can always afford crowns, I only buy them if I think the value is there. That is why I bought 2 5500 packs for $24 a piece during the sales in December. I will save them for DLC purchases (the first was spend on the current 2 DLC).

I know a few people who will wait until the end of the month to buy non-essentials even though they can actually afford it almost every month.

There's a few different reasons. One of them is practically paranoid that if she spends all her money before the end of the month something super-urgent will come up. A few just like the idea of knowing exactly how much they have to spend and then spending it all in one go.

Whether it's a good strategy or not is debatable, but that's true of most peoples financial planning.

ZOS clearly announces the limited edition items start and end date & time of items when they are made available.

If the limited edition/briefly available items are that important to you then work them into your budget. Put XX amount aside each paycheck in cash, then when they come available you will have the funds. If you don't want them, then you have saved some $$.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck to the point you do not have the funds when the limited edition items are available, you probably should not be buying them as your funds are probably better used else where then on a game.

I budget my mortgage, water, electric and gas each paycheck, so when the bill comes in I don't have to wait for a paycheck to pay it. Do the same with your budget for items you want in the game. The limited edition items come out every month or two, so very easy to put aside a little funds to get them when they are available.

Most of the recent limited edition items were announced before they were released. You could of started saving funds when they were announced and saved all of us this senseless forum post. If you were not aware, that was your fault. ZOS clearly posted the information and I also received an email notification.

This senseless post is almost as bad as the people that complain they did not get a chance to buy an item because the took a few weeks off the game. So it needs to be available again just for them. If I take a break from the game, I do keep up with the information so I do not miss something I may want.

The ESO Crown Store is a luxury, it does not improve gameplay but it may help on grinding time. I wish people would stop complaining about every little thing ZOS does because they cant afford the luxury items they want at the time or they fell asleep for a few weeks. If you need to save up do buy a $10/$20/$40 item, then you cant afford it and should not be buying it in the first place. Put the money in the bank for a real life emergency.

I am done with my 2 cents and comments, flame all you want ......

My suggestion is this: You know that there are going to be limited items in the Crown Store every month. This is a guarentee and you are now fully aware of it. Take money out of your next paycheck and put it aside for Crown Store purchases that you would like to make. You can also use a credit card to get Crowns (if you have a credit card) if there is something that you would really like but don't have the current funds for.

Now that you are fully aware of the reality of the Crown Store you can prepare for future limited releases. Problem solved.

They need to stop putting up limited items and make most of them permanent, for example they would make a killing off the zombie horse and, mind shriven skin if it was up permanent, I would say they make more money, by adding them to crown store pemenantly then when they limit it. Most can't afford to spend money on certain things, and I am sure most are not subs either, now and just buy to play and bough the dlcs, with money instead of with sub. Also the snow bear cub, and snowbear mount should have been added as permanent anyways because people will try and buy either one.

Obviously, they are making money with their limited items. And putting them up permanently wouldn't necessarily increase sales. There are quite a few items in the Crown Store that I'm interested in, but haven't bothered to purchase yet, since I think, eh...I can get that any time. I'll just wait. And wait. And wait. And ZOS doesn't get my Crowns.

At the end of the day, this is the model they've adopted, and they know better than us as to which items sell more - limited items or those in the Crown Store permanently.

Remember, also, that these items will come around again. Two of the Senches already have.

I am all for limited edition stuff & so on but OP has a point...

For example some of us live in areas / countries with really slow internet. The game client completely corrupted and I had to re-download the game.

Long story short I was only @ about 50% downloaded after a whole week and the Halloween mounts were gone by then. The solution is simple though - allow us to purchase crown store items from the website ( we can already log in to our accounts ). I had crowns at that time.

I am sure 30 days is not unreasonable so OP's request gets my support, unless they can add the items to the website for purchase like I also suggest, that would solve my problem instantly.

(By the way, when my client was done downloading after 2 weeks it still didn't work somehow some things still corrupted)

Fortunately I had a friend who gave me her game client in the end.
