It has a casttime and follows the same rules as any ability...
No cast time is mentioned in the tooltip. Also, the vast majority of abilities can be animation cancelled.
Cast times are implemented on skills that would be op if they were spammed. Since Assassin's Will requires a long setup via basic attacks already, having a cast time on it is unnecessary. In its current state, Assassin's Will sometimes doesn't fire in fast paced combat, so removing the cast time and allowing the skill to be animation cancelled is a quality of life change that honestly needs to happen.

It HAS a cast time. Charge the bow and then look at the tooltip to see for yourself.
By the way, if you get interrupted (i.e. bashed) and dont fire the bow, you will not consume the shot and be able to try to fire it a second time untile the buff runs out.
That makes sense. My argument then becomes that it shouldn't have a cast time. It makes using it during fast paced combat very clunky. The barrier to use is setup with the 4 basic attacks. It doesn't need another one.

i disagree with this. the ability already got a buff by making it into 4 light/heavy attack to be able to cast assassin's will. that's good enough as it hits hard. but if somehow it gets a mother buff by making it insta cast and being abled to be animation canceled, i personally think it'll make an un-balanced skill. well that's just my opinion anyways.
oh and i play nightblade exclusively (1 NB for each faction)
