Most effective way to level up Assault/Support

This is probably not the first time someone asked this question, but could anyone share what they think is the most efficient way to improve alliance rank?
(I'm at the beginning of level 3, yet need level 7 for magicka detonation)

Could it be running in large groups? small groups? solo? cyrodiil? imperial city? any specific type of activity?

(keep in mind that I do not care about alliance points, only leveling up the assault/support bars).

The skill lines only increase when u gain ap. So rapid regeneration would most likely be your best bet. 10+ people take keeps and resources if possible defend them as I hear defending grants more ap.

The only way to level up your Alliance Rank is by gaining AP.

Small groups with good coordination is the best way to gain AP but you can also do it solo or with random groups.

The best way to gain AP is killing enemy players, taking and defending keeps/resources.

The best way to gain AP:

1. Put steel tornado on nine of your slots. Put flying blade on the 10th.
2. Dawnbreaker is your ultimate (MOAR DMG)
3. Join a group. Tell them you're awesome.
4. ...

I've been doing some research on AP gain (Akaviri Motif. WANT.) and here are my findings so far:

MISSION BOARDS:
Scouting Mission - 250 AP
Bounty Mission (kill 20 PCs) - 1,000 AP
Retrieve Scroll Mission - 750 AP
Take Fort Mission - 750 AP

NORMAL PLAY:
Take Resource - 25 AP
Repair Wall - 25 AP per kit
Repair Siege - 0 AP

Wall repair is the easiest but it gets expensive fast. Scouting missions are useful if your faction controls the map and/or no one is on to fight. If you're in a big group, kills your group makes count toward the Bounty total as long as they're the right type. Also note you get AP for taking keeps and so on separately from completing the mission for same. So for example if I have a mission to take Fort Ash, I'll still get AP for taking Fort Aleswell.

I haven't got numbers for killing enemy PCs; I think it's different depending on whether or not you shared the kill with someone else and how recently your kill died before you killed them. I think you get AP for healing allies in combat, I'm not sure about resurrecting allies. I know if you can get in and stay in a big fight the AP pours in faster than any other activity, it's the 'not dying' that's the hard part.

Probably the easiest way to gain AP (and therefore alliance rank)? Buy a bunch of repair kits. Go around your faction's keeps and repair all the walls.

just kill alot and if possible with low numbers so the ap isnt split up between you

Killing people is best. From my experience, taking keeps and resources is pretty useless, maybe Im doing something wrong. I'd also like to know what exactly counts as "defense".

Oh and always check the keep inner and youter doors if they need repair. That's good. Walls? Pretty much worthless unless u have infinit gold or AP pool.
