Improved Group Finder for console - 'Group Broadcast'

@ZOS, suggestion to improve the group finder system...

My solution for the console world:

Group Registration
To Register your group - create a group of one or more, you get a group name based on the group leaders Gamertag/PSNId name(BigJohns Group), and register your group from a list of selections.
Select one or more:


Update Group Registration
This simply allows the group leader to modify the selections above or remove their group from group finder. An example why you would need to modify your selections is if you had a Healer join the group and you would then remove the 'Need Healer' selection.

Group Finder
Group Finder now shows a list of registered groups by name that shows what they registered for, then you:


The registered group would then get a pop-up notification and be able to accept or decline the 'Request for Invite' to your group.


This allows the community to create groups that others can FIND and join.


Added:
- Allow crafters to create a virtual store where people can join the group and ask if the crafter can make sets, items, or any other goodie from your crafting professions.
- Allow people to create groups where they can trade/buy/sell.
- Added mockups

Brilliant!! Simple, easy to understand, easy to implement.
The group finder system existing right now is an utterly useless joke.

All the reasons the developers will never consider it and the fan boiZ will rip it.

They think this game is perfect and nothing at all is broken or requires improvement. Even if devs thought it was good - would take 3 DLCs for them to implement it 2 years from now.

+1 for effort and contributing real and legitimate ideas for discussion.

text chat fixes this problem with less scripting and implementing problems. but there are enough threads about that...

I like this, ff14 uses that exact system and works really well. Can be a pain waiting at times, but i guess thats mmo's.

I'm tired of fighting that fight as I've been doing it since April 2015 when they pulled text chat right before beta.

What I'm trying to do here is implement a system that allows you to create groups that others in the game can see and join.

This is actually a very slick, polished and, above all very functional grouping UI design.
Would very much like something very similar implemented into the main grouping tool.

That thread blew up as a result of a certain poster and his surveys and studies, so maybe pie charts are needed?

By the way, my psn matches my name on here so if anyone wants to add me (eu server), I might give eso another shot, I ended up going back to ff14 for now through frustration, I'd be back in a heartbeat if I had folk to group with though. Back on topic, zos really need to look further into this, hell if they did thus as well as add text chat...
