I can see that. Would have been fun to log in and have to do a chain quest to earn my polymorph. I don't mind crown store versions, just wish both options existed and both offered something different (i.e. Scarecrow earned in game, Pumpkin bought).2 -

Honestly, the celebration of these holidays is really the role of the people who live in the game. Other game developers have taken the time to program in holidays, but it does not need to be done that way.
It has already been stated that Elder Scrolls lore is written by the people who have a perspective on the events of the day.
It seems to me that if players want to celebrate holidays in Tamriel that they should simply do it. We don't have to wait for the developers to give us permission. We have an increasing supply of costumes at our disposal and ZOS certainly isn't going to stop anyone.0 -

All they are interested in is what they can put on the store. Gouge you out of what almost $50 to get all three? So ya never will there be any free festivals. If there is a festival they will sell tickets to it on the store for $50 each.0 -
