Shouldnt Breath of life have a LOS check?

Im getting kinda tired of having my targets fully healed in one second from a templar standing either a couple floors underneath us in the building or through walls, sometimes through entire buildings just as long as they are within healing range of the spell. Is this really intended? if so....revamp?

    Agreed, im fairly sure this also applies to healing ward. All too often I see ppl standing outside keeps spamming this spell on allies that are just inside the walls of the keep.

    Well, it's called "smart" healing, but in reality it's quite the opposite...

    I agree. Templar heals need adjustment in pvp, they are way too strong in groups.
    Not only that they instantly heal at max distance, but also the amount is too big.

    Giving it a line of sight check, is the least thing that should be done. I would like to see heals being reduced by a certain percentage on allies for all heals and heals in general being 50% weaker while blockcasting and damage shields for all classes should also be 50% weaker when casted while blocking.
    Can't be, that they are immune to CC and immortal at the same time. This kind of gameplay should get punished instead of getting rewarded by being invinceable. This is broken and Templar heals are the most broken combination with this.

    Also these noobish permablocking Sorcs. I am out of stamina when I block 3 attacks and they just permablock everything, roll dodge indefinately and break every CC even though they are Magicka Sorcs ? I don't get it.

    Well 50% weaker heals dunno if thats a Smart Solution :smiley:
    But I definetly agree with Having a LOS Check, its ridiculous how some just mindlessly mash that Button(also for AP, but thats another story).
    The Problem heals in pvp (especially in Zergs) cause, is The Same As with steeltornado Spams, they both deserve punishment or atleast lowered values etc when moving in a Group Larger than X People.

    I would agree with a LOS check if they fixed the Lag, adding another calculation is not going to do anything to improve PVP....

    I disagree, all the explaining sounds a Little bit emotional. Maybe someone tried to burst a Fullhealer down in PvP and Fails, like this. We see what Ideas like this have done to the Tanks with the Stamina Regeneration Change.

    The Templars lost some of their best Healing Passives, like the older Critbonus and Mending has changed again. Breath of Life is the Bread and Butter Spell for Templars, dont touch this ever.

    We dont Need to discuss the Healingsystem, this is Teso and healing works like it is. The Templar Class is the best Healer Class, everyone knows that and if a Fullhealer cant be burst down, it is absolutley ok.

    Today it is so that some People means that PvP is only Ambush & Burst, and they think it has to do with Skill. If a Player can heal or use Shields, they call for a Nerf, so they can do this simple Gameplay again.

    We have seen what false Informations and Descisions done, thank you PvP Guys for the Shieldbreaker Set and Stamina Regeneration Change, but i hope you have Fun with your "Ambush"..1..1.."Fear or insert CC here"...."Finisher" Combo.

    Maybe some PPl learn to fight People that can fight back, before they call for a Nerf.

    LoS, is another Thing. I could live with it but it could be difficult to solve that Problem. There are enough Situations where Players stand behind Rocks, Shrines or different Objects in Dungeons, it isnt easy to implement that.
